Anyone stupid enough to try to run drugs in a country where the penalty is death would certainly fit their opinion of us.

While in detention, Basikbasik racked up more than 40 infractions, including assault. He is also believed to have fathered 14 children by four different women.

can anyone explain to me why someone of this character deserves the attention of the Human Rights Comm Gillian Triggs..???....

btw it says in her report she didnt mention his defacto was pregnant at the time he killed her with a bike...

I guess that slipped her mind.. Angry

as for the Bali boys....it could happen any day now...

this is some kind of torture I would think...and thats not just for the Australians look at all those they shoot.. they all go through the same thing..never knowing when it will be them.for years...we condemned America for torture... why not Indonesia...

Those that are against the death penalty condemn all nations that still use that disgusting, inhumane form of punishment. They're barbaric, the death penalty should have been abandoned back in the 19th century, it certainly doesn't belong in the modern world of the 21st century, no matter how undeveloped the nation is.

I havent heard of massive drug bust in Indonesia on that scale.

I think the big time crooks set up these patsies to do a drug run
& then make sure they get caught for small amounts as a decoy
while their whole container load passes by a few corrupt officials.

They then sit back & enjoy their wealth while the patsies get shot.

The 'real crooks', as you call them, are at least able to say their 'clients' are faceless people on the other side of the world, whereas these Bali 9 grubs were happy and willing to get up-close-and-personal with the people whose lives they were in the process of further ruining.

A bullet in the head is all they deserve.

These are the ones who actively push to get more of our youth addicted and into the miserable loop of self-destruction, prostitution, and suicide.
