"Not a single black actor makes the Oscar shortlist".

At last!

The Oscars organisers have had the moral courage to return the Oscar Awards back to being based on merit rather than racial politics.

It would be nice if Hollywood had the "moral courage" to make some movies that were driven by good writing rather than car chases, hand guns and the 'gee whiz, will ya look at that" style of special effects.

Perhaps Aunt Herbie is a member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Did Bindi Irwin get a nomination for Return to Nim's Island ?

Bill Cosby wrecked it for all of them.

I wonder if Aunt Herbs would still like Bindi if she was black.

Did you know Bill Cosby went ahead with a show in the same fashion as Rolf Harris - but unlike as with Rolf, half the audience walked out on him, and that was the end of the tour?

"Audiences appeared mostly pleased with the shows, with Cosby receiving standing ovations each night."

It's the sheer conceit of Bill Cosby that's so appalling. It was the same with Rolf Harris.

No remorse. No contrition.

"Around 30 female protesters disrupted Bill Cosby’s stand-up comedy show in Hamilton, Ontario Friday night, yelling “We believe the women.” The Hollywood Reporter witnessed as the comedian grimly attempted to calm his fans while police and security guards moved in to end the disruption".

***

"A cynical attempt to restore his good-guy image? Bill Cosby projects a picture of himself with Nelson Mandela at stand-up show - but ploy fails as he's greeted by empty seats, protesters and hecklers".

link

Grin Grin Grin

What a name-dropper! Has a big Selfie of himself with Saint Mandela posted up on the stage as proof of his immaculate conception and divine innocence!

What a cynical low-life to use Mandela as some sort of bio-detergent to launder the moral stains he's been picking up lately.

What a cad!

What a bounder!

Can someone accused and not yet convicted do anything right?

His crude attempt at 'Innocent by association' with Nelson Mandela was a sickening ploy that even his fans should find distasteful and vulgar.

I never did think he was funny.

Yes - but does that in any way suggest he is guilty?
