Sorry - not up on French law - would they really be in prison for sending up Judaism?

I'd say the result would be a laugh and a shake of the head from the authorities..then move on...

Unlike Muslim fanatics......

My great-great grandparents from Germany were Jews - not ONE ever was violent or in any way anything but a solid member of the community.

Seeing as how they arrived here in the 1850's - I'd say some of you have benefited from their work.... and their defence of this country over the years....

Yes, very true. However, simply drawing satirical cartoons about Jewish people might lead to a court case, just as drawing satirical cartoons about Mohammed 'should have' resulted in court case.

I would say so...as I have seen many cartoons taking the piss out of Old Testament characters.
Moses is a favourite target for satire and parody for one.
