Push people past their breaking point and then complain because you get the response that was obvious.

Stupidest comment I've read all day.

And total crap.

There's "most stupid" or "dumbest", but there's no such word as "stupidest". Lets make it a new word and we'll define it as "Anything and everything said by Kat."...

Maybe, just maybe if they were given some freaking water to drink, and treated like the human beings they are, they wouldn't riot.

Just a thought.

plenty of water, always was. if there wasnt they would be carting dead bodies out of there all day long. The with holding of water story was a fabrication by the human rights mob and a stupid one at best. Dont drink water and you die , mostly within 24 hours in hot conditions. These people are patently still all alive. Strange how most of these detainees refused to join the rioters, maybe they dont perceive their own conditions to be so bad. and read what started this, the fact they were told they would not be re settled in Australia despite knowing they are safe and sound from their alleged persecution in their home countries, simple security and peace for themselves and their families does not appear to be at the top of their list.

I thought it was a word recently created to help to classify the Liberal government.

Back up the bus.

"treated like human beings"?

These people are tinted foreigners.  You do realise that, don't you?

Even IF that was true, and it isn’t, you are locked up in a tropical hellhole not because you have committed a crime but because Australians are racists and xenophobes, insecure little people. You don’t know when you will be released either.

Concentration camps are not holiday camps!

They are detention centres George, this is where the hysteria of the pro refugee brigade reaches epidemic proportions, these people are treated quite humanely. And they need to be locked up while their claims are processed, calling for un processed asylum seekers to be held in the community is stupid, very very stupid. we literally have no idea who these people are until they are processed and their identities verified. Not only that , if they produced their ID documents instead of destroying them the process will be much shorter for them. So if they a re indeed in a tropical hell hole (much like Bali im told), then its a hell hole of their own choosing.

I agree: I don't want illegals in the country.

Asylum seekers aren't illegals though.

Moreover, the colour of an asylum seekers' skin, or their religion, doesn't bother me in the slightest.

So, why are you against the humane treatment of asylum seekers?
