The stand-off has been ended, and now we must ask ourselves if the actions by these people are the actions of people we want to take in to our country. Personally, I think anyone who behaved aggressively and/or threateningly should be on the first flight back to wherever they came from. The others should be assessed on a case-by-case basis based upon their actions during and leading up to the stand-off. We don't want people here who cannot accept the rule of law, it's as simple as that. There's enough law breakers here already without adding to them. One only needs to look at the ALP and Unions for proof of that!

Speaking of the RAC, why aren't they out there doing some good where it's really needed - at refugee camps handing out water bottles and blankets in camps that have no running water, no internet access, no TV's and no security to keep them safe?

They had drinking water UNTIL they started rioting. They ignored our governments' warnings (as weak as they were under Labor with Bowen in charge) not to use people smugglers in their attempts to come here. Obviously not, or else you'd realise that these detention centres are far from being concentration camps, as has been previously proven to you. I won't list the luxuries that the detainees are afforded compared to REAL refugees in some disease-infested UN refugee camp in danger of being attacked in some African nation, because such logic and common sense is only wasted on halfwits such as yourself. Lastly, none of these people were forced into those detention centres. They didn't have to come after paying people smugglers thousands of dollars to try to circumvent Australian law.
