the project is to cost around 5 Billion

Victoria was to put in 2 Billion
Federal to put in 3 Billion

if he doesn't go ahead with it (which he is hell bent on doing) then this dickhead, will throw away 1.2 Billion dollars of Victorian tax payers money... then... he'll lose the 3 Billion of Federal money...

in effect, he'll be throwing away over 4 Billion dollars..

so basically, if he does go ahead with it.. we'll save that 4 Billion Dollars and it will only cost the Victorian tax payer 1 Billion Dollars to build a road so badly needed in the city...

how could any person in "right mind" vote for these absolute nincompoops... Angry

its Labor all over again.. wasted Billions on a stupid pipeline we didn't need... wasted 25 Billion on a stupid desal plant we didn't need... wasted Billions on the stupid miki system that we didn't need... wasted hundreds of millions on the payouts of the bungled tatts fiasco..

Correct...but they weren't a politicians back pocket. No political nouse. No reminding the voters everyday, on the hour, every hour of just how useless Labor are. The Desal.....the Myki....Union 'negotiations' lasting 2 years being advertised on every Ambulance....everything touched by Labor turns to rust and wasted tax payers money.

If the Libs want to stay in power they have to fight like sewer rats for the privilege, instead they live in quasi Toorak ivory towers and think that the average voter has a logical brain. They don't. Libs have to get down and fight like the Labor ferals I'm afraid, fire with fire, Alinsky vs Alinsky.
No more waiting for the 'results' of good policy to win the day....voters are too easily hoodwinked by Labors political play book.

Perhaps Daniel Andrews, ACTU Premier of Vic has discovered that saying you wont pay, doesn't mean you wont be forced to do so. That's kinda the point of legally enforceable contracts. So now he is up for $1.2B for absolutely nothing.

they went out of their way to destroy rail in the country...

they shut down the Mildura Rail link instead of upgrading it so that all the rail gauge was the same and the trip quick.. they promised to have a "look" at it over they past few years in office but did nothing.. Angry

they not only shut down the Colac Loop, so that trains can pass each other and therefore more than one train on the line, they then ripped it up making sure only one train was on the track at any given time... Angry

the libs, in only 3 years fixed and reopened the loop allowing more trains to flow on the track.. business has been booming on that line now...

the libs have ordered 34 new trains (4 already built) with the rest to come.. then the Labor dickheads said that they were going to order 30 trains if they win the election - well they are the liberal trains that are already being built... fricken liars..

the Libs were also working on inner city rail...

along with all their rail projects they've got massive road projects going all over the state.. replicating highways all the way from Melbourne, to Geelong, to Winchelsea and Heading to Colac...

that speeds up travel times and allows people to move out of the city and ease housing prices...

also new over taking lanes all over the state... big projects heading out towards Hamilton/Horsham with also rail upgrades...

Andrews promised BIG Rail infrastructure but as soon as he got in said.. errr maybe we can't do it now Cheesy

he needs to be awfully careful about that. Retrospectively altering the terms of contracts would destroy confidence in private firms getting involved.
