Well if its sheep, you can usually use your body weight to push them up against the fence in a race, all without using boots and clubs. Thats the technique for drenching and you have to lift their mouth for that, would be no different for slitting a throat.

Big cows you could use a crush. Much like farmers use now.

I watched footage from Indonesia where they club the poor things to the ground and put the boot into their heads.

Thanks Captain Obvious, my argument is that type of behaviour is not necessary and we shouldnt have to stand for it. Its also the case, that that type of behaviour is not conducted everywhere.

Mostly in the middle east animals are killed behind a little shop. I'll give it to you, you never give up defending Islam. But you shouldn't defend something so much that you overlook things that aren't right. But in their defence poor countries don't have expensive stunning devices and slaughtering equipment. Most of the time it's just a knife.

I dont know, a couple here in Oz cant be used to extrapolate across an entire industry.

The leftists like Outragebus wanted to stop our live export trade because of Indonesian slaughter methods which appear to be similar to this case.
