She will do just fine if her party gets behind her - and she listens to her commonsense and logic.  I hope she winds back/cuts out all destruction/dredging to the reef and that it is 1st on her list ( should she form Govt).

thats how Newman won office in the first place .... were you crying about it then?

Not everyone is an insane rusted on political peon, like yourself there sunshine.

But either party has only themselves to blame for the white wash they suffered, but like I said, voting against who you hate is not a good way to elect anyone.

The new premier is not particularly bright and she is leading a whole bunch of people who are totally clueless in running a state, do you really think this is going to end well?

It was a simple question ... were you crying about voting a govt out depsite not knowing what the alternative govt was bringing in? Your sentiments were fine, but they must apply equally to both sides, otherwise you are as rusted on as any other rusted on liberal hack. As for your stupid comment about leading people that are clueless in running a state, that can be said about any new govt. Besides, they have a lot of MP's from the last QLD labor govt. that have won their old seats back, so they're not as inexperienced as you seem to think.

I don't know if she is going to do well, I haven't really seen enough of her to form an opinion  .... It's irrelevant anyway, we've tried smart politicians, they don't work ... the problem with smart ones is that they think they are smarter than everyone else ... I'm prepared to give an honest pollitician a go.

You keep saying that Im crying about the result, just checked my cheeks for tears and the floor for tissues, gotta say, not a lot of either.

And the fact that ministers form the previous bligh government are back in power doesn't not fill me with a lot of confidence, considering what the achieved last time they were in.

I get how you mistrust smart people and feel that morons who are too stupid to be dishonest are more than capable of doing a tough and complex job like running a state, its called the Dunning Kruger Effect. And guess what, you are very wrong, morons are morons and stuff up spectacularly, even the most basic of tasks, even if the they are honest.

She is just another quota premier and like every single one before her, she will prove that she way out of her depth and filling quotas is not the way to pick a leader.
