Major Campbell Newman gone, great news.

Maybe the Qld public dont like the ex-army style.

Particularly the Little Hitler style of rule.

Good riddance!

Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

They didn't like him selling assets, after he had an online questionnaire to ask the people, they said  NO ASSET SALES, so in his arrogance he shifted to LEASING ASSETS.

his army style

his overriding of the judiciary system

his appointment of Tim Carmody as chief justice

his ruination of the GBR

his incessant push to drill, drill, drill for CSG

his cutting of key public service personnel

his unabashed arrogance

his total disregard for the people of Qld

They're stuck between a rock and a hard place with that nail.

If they oust Tony it shows disunity and unrest within the party ranks, the exact same thing he lambasted Gillard and Rudd for, and who would they put up? Morriscum is hated as much or more than Abbott, Julie Bishop is insignificant, Pyne, is Pyne, he's a joke of a man, that leaves Turnbull, their only hope to get re-elected but is he 'right' enough for the fascist party?

If he stays the course, he's a goner.

I don't - I believe there will be some 'desperate need' to raise money somehow and assets will be leased out in a watered-down version.... again to support the false premise that by having all the money government knows how to handle it best.... what a laugh.

Wait for 'how are we going to handle police/ambulance/fire/nurses/hospitals/nursing homes/children issues etc etc etc.. without raising money?'

The most interesting thing to come out of this is hearing them pronounce her name 'pallashay'.  Is this just WA newsreaders or is it nationwide.

Fyi, the corrrct pronunciation is palahchuck.

But there is a big difference because a lot people liked Dudd whereas nobody really likes Tiny so he won't be missed at all. For our benefit they should keep him there as long as they can Wink

Not a lot of people, I suspect.

But that doesn't mean they're happy about it, or that they shouldn't let
the government know that they're unhappy about it.

Personally I believe that ALL public utilities and ALL essential services
should be publicly-owned and run/funded by the govt via generated
income and (if necessary) the taxpayer.

Newman and his friends wanted to sell state assets.

To whom? You got it!

Who was going to write the contract? You guessed right again.

Who was going to check the fine print? Fine print? Newman wouldn't do a thing like that now would he?

Which will turn out to be good days ahead for all Queenslanders (except the corrupt ones, of course).
