I'm not feeling very confident about our personal privacy here at OzPol, maybe it's time freediver assured us that security is assured and that passwords can't be hacked.

I've seen a couple of complaints lately about password/computer hacking re the Ozpolitics forum. Maybe it's the muzzies or maybe it's people from 'that other forum'.....who knows?

I usually blame Tony Abbott when things go wrong, but I'm not sure this time.

blame Tony for sure... him and ASIO gone bonkers.

as it is I dont think I have much to interest anyone...

aussie is quite frantic...but its no different to listening in to the phones is it??>..

the thing is pansi.. if for instance ASIO watched forums like this...and wanted to watch someone very closely.. I dont think anything fd did would be able to stop them.. so if you are thinking of doing something evil to the lib head qtrs....maybe you had best keep it to yourself..

The other board is perfectly safe. I trust Skippy implicitly. In fact it hasn't been safer, except for a member who is bringing information back here and inciting distrust. It has been unsafe at times - but not now.

Aussie's membership wasn't hacked - although an attempt was made, but this sort of thing happens occasionally no matter what board you're posting on.

I don’t trust skippy, he banned three people without reason. I think he listens to AiA and IQ. I truly hope you delete PMs frequently and have a hotmail addy in your profile there.

While IQ posts there personal details are NOT safe.

I strongly encourage posters here to steer WELL CLEAR of the septic tank known as PA that is attached to this site. As evidence I point to AiA’s continual attempts to provoke me by using particular images as avatar. Then there was Naffy posting a link to a web page that contains my name. All decent posters (except for mantra) have long fled the cesspool.

Skippy has been the victim of hacking here and since that time has been a big proponent of security. There have been big improvements over there since he's been admin.

mantra skippy might like you......he doesnt like everyone.. and it shows....I am glad you have the faith in him but I am sure if I joined over there he would treat me as he has always done...

and as geo says...what excuse did he have for banning them all 3 at the same time..was it personal???.. which is not what a mod is about..

dont blame the person over at PA I blame aussie for divulging he had a snitch over there...

although it appears I am the only one who has done anything wrong on that thread... go figure!

As much as Aussie gets more than his share of blame - in this case it's true. He's made a mountain out of a molehill and caused even more dissension and distrust simply because he disclosed information from the other board publicly when it has no place here. I would hate to think it had been done deliberately. Roll Eyes
