The point is - why would the Creator make such a stupid mistake and inspire his illiterate servant to recite? Remember, this is not 1400 years ago, this is eternal, unchangeable stuff. It is a blood cot now, then, and in a million years back and a million years hence.

The Koran is not a historically situated (and therefore revisable, criticisable, mutable) text. It is eternal. What the Koran says is not the view of humanity or Araby 1400 years ago. It is eternal. But you are too stupid to understand anything, you are only good enough to bleat and nod with the other fervent believers.
