Judging by the Rules, disclosure of personal info Naffy’s ban should be permanent. I dunno if it is and am not asking that, just saying that if it is obviously a new board Mod is needed.

IP address don't get banned here so there is no point using a proxy, they can come back on with their own IP. Public proxy lists are available if one wanted to block them, I used to block them at the school I worked for so the kids couldn't get around filtering.

Yeas.....but then they'd be all the more readily identified as the sock of a banned Member....so they use proxies to register their new sock and post with it through those proxies.

Surely Nef doesn't deserve a life ban for posting a link to a site that on quick glace you can not see address details. You have to go to other forms on the site. Then 2 minutes later deleted it herself when she realised it may not have been a good thing.

So you are punishing someone who corrected the mistake within minutes.

I appeal to the FD and moderators to see reason here. The solution is to allow Nef back when she has served her time. That time should not be a life ban for a mistake that she corrected in minutes.

Then the subforum will have its mod back.

I suggest you get your facts right. She posted the very page which contained all the personal details of a Member here. She did it quite deliberately, in some silly attempt to assist AiA's use of that same Member's copyrighted material as his avatar. Further, she did not correct it in a minute or two. She allowed it to stay up for 31 MINUTES and then made the edit/delete.

If that does not warrant a permanent ban from this Forum, I have no idea what would.
