The rules of engagement have been spelled out clearly in other parts of the Quran which makes it abundantly clear that self defense is the only permissible form of fighting. You exposed your misunderstanding of these conditions before, so lets not go over that again.
You are also being blatantly dishonest by trying to pretend that there are not two activities that are mentioned in relation to this martyrdom - "travelling through the land" (from your own translation), as well as fighting.
Even if all your baseless assumptions from non-existent Quranic verses about the true meaning of "fighting" in Islam were perfectly accurate - making the leap and say that this particular verse unquestionably means "physically murdering people or dying in the act of slaughtering other humans" - is tenuous to say the least.
I would put your reply in the same basket as the tired old **it's got nothing to do with islam, islam is a religion of peace, it's written in Arabic you can't translate it. They're only a tiny minority, muslims are the victims etc. etc.
To try and gloss over one verse (out of a myriad of verses which urge human rights atrocities) as probably meaning to kill and be killed in self defence only is as stupid as all the rest of the excuses and apologies for islamic atrocities committed in accordance with the muslim's doctrine.
Self preservation is a natural instinct common to all animals and humans. Nothing or nobody needs to be reminded of it's absolute importance to survival.
Yet here you are trying to excuse the, muslims are to slay and be slain islamic doctrine, as nothing more than muslims had to told they must leave their homes and go forth to defend themselves. Illogical and nonsensical rubbish.
The verse is the same as all the others, Plainly encouraging muslims to go forth and kill people, with the added enticement of **if you're killed while doing this, allah will most definitely accept you into paradise where the houri's with the big tits are waiting**
I'm still very, very comfortable with my statement: There are commands of allah, teachings of muhammad, verses in the qur'an and hadi'th which consecrate committing human rights atrocities as a sacred path for muslims.
All muslims who refuse to decry these commands, teachings and verses, most definitely can be grouped with the islamic rapists, terrorists, torturers and mass murderers. (they are providing the moral support for the physical depravity urged by islam)
