So we have a section complaining that Greens are a one issue party ... and another section complaining it's a multi issue party.

Seems the only logical path for the Greens is government. And that requires a multi issue party.
instead of targeting the minority target the majority more. That's how it works.

Services and infrastructure isn't an interest to the majority?

Boycotting Israel isn't.

And where is that a policy?

NSW Greens: Boycott apartheid Israel!
Wednesday, December 8, 2010

At its State Delegates Council meeting held on December 4 in Sydney, the NSW Greens unanimously endorsed the following proposal:

That the Greens NSW call upon all Australians and the Australian government to boycott Israeli goods, trading and military arrangements, and sporting, cultural and academic events as a contribution to the struggle to end Israel's occupation and colonisation of Palestinian territory,

It's now 2015 ...
That policy was dropped in 2011.

By dragging that up shows you have little to complain about.
Dragging this up has demonstrated how insane the Greens have been in the past.

By opposing war crimes committed by Israel. Shame on them.

Israel is a rouge state and is hiding behind the US.

It's not Greens party position, yet it is mine.
I support non violence protest against Israel's apartheid.
Same as I opposes South Africa's apartheid.

Mr Kaye added the Greens could raise $20 billion by obtaining a loan that would be serviced and repaid by extra revenue from reinstating the vendors duty on property speculators, higher poker machine taxes, and maintaining duties on large business transaction

$20 billion dollar defacto tax increase to drive business investment out of the State?

Economic vandalism to the nenth degree....  Sad

Business paying their fair way is the Greens way. Where as the conservatives way is for the community via substandard services, should inflate the profits of multinationals.

Close all the businesses down then and see how prosperous the place is?  Roll Eyes

Like the carbon levy wiped Whyalla off the map?

We all know about conservatives $100 lamb roast slash cities disappearing sort of claims.

The purpose of the carbon tax was to reduce CO2 emissions wasn't it?

The Greens tax on business will reduce business.

Reduce business and you drive up unemployment and instead of increased tax revenues you actually get less and with greater welfare expenses.

Economic vandalism as I said.

Except you missed the part where there was 4.5 billion worth of new clean energy projects in the pipeline, under Labor.

Instead we added another 3 billion to the debt paying big polluters to pollute Roll Eyes

How does a tax on business reduce that business?
It's another input cost, as is electricity ... even if it rises if the voter vote for higher costs under the conservatives, business will handle it.

Stop making up wild claims without any facts.

By changing habits. Taxes are a revenue raiser and also a market mechanism to shift behaviour.

By the reaction of the arab haters, the opposite seems true. The arab haters had to campaign hard to stop people realising the injustice Australians are complicit with via the old parties siding with Israel in UN votes over Palestine being recognised as a State.

So in other words if you tax something your aim is to increase its price and therefore decrease it's demand so you get less of it?

So tax business you make it more expensive to do business so you get less of it.

Savvy?

no, the aim of the tax was to decrease demand on SOME businesses, thereby switching demand to alternative means ... a tax that covers all businesses doesn't change anyones behaviour (unless the tax is extreme)

Taxing profit doesn't increase the item(s), it decreased the amount the owner(s) receives.

It's the cost they pay in being part of the society and profiting from the wider's societies assets.
