Kiev is imploding - dogs fight over crumbs
Mar 24th, 2015 at 1:47pm

It seems Ukraine is disintegrating as disparate parties are fighting over the crumbs. The government is at odds with its oligarchs.

What's next in this tragedy? Abbott to the rescue?

Quote:
The Ukrainian government has given the private army of billionaire Dnepropetrovsk governor Igor Kolomoysky a day to lay down their weapons, after they occupied and erected a fence around the headquarters of the national oil company.

“We won’t have armed personal security forces of businessmen and politicians on the streets of our cities. This applies to every single one of them,” Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said on his Facebook page.

“All security forces have 24 hours to comply with the letter of the law.”

President Petro Poroshenko has also dispatched two battalions of the elite National Guard to Dnepropetrovsk, to diffuse “rising tension in the region.”

“There will be no more pocket armies for each governor. Any regional armed forces must fall in with the national military hierarchy,” the president warned.

Arriving in unmarked armored trucks, dozens of camouflaged men barricaded themselves in the head office of majority state-owned oil producer Ukrnafta in central Kiev on Sunday afternoon. Kolomoysky, whose net worth is estimated at $1.3 billion by Forbes but may be much greater, according to local sources, was inside, issuing orders to build an impromptu barrier around the office. The government says no permit has been issued to allow this.

We first fought the heathens in the name of religion, then Communism, and now in the name of drugs and terrorism. Our excuses for global domination always change.

America deliberately destabilised the Ukraine to take it out of Russia's sphere of influence and they eventually concocted a coup to bring down a democratically elected government. Thereafter everything went to sh!t and as a consequence thousands have died and over a million people have been displaced. How often the US has meddled in the internal affairs of sovereign nations playing their nasty geopolitical games with the inevitable results of large scale misery of the kind we are seeing in the Ukraine today.  And what's infuriating about it is that it's hardly a surprise that Russia was not going to simply sit back and watch the US play its games and put Russia in the invidious position where not only would their underbelly be exposed but they would lose their navel base in Sevastopol. Anyone who tries to interfere with the US in this way would be nuked (imagine for a moment if china tried to destabilise Hawaii and force the US to lose their military base there.  It would be WW3). BY far the US is the number 1 rogue state in the world today. And whats worse is this thing with Russia has not finished and we may all be dragged into a world conflict that can't be contained because these neocon bastards are determined to own the world.
