i see the Sikh community in darwin put on free sikh food every week at one of the local parks and have won the locals over.
Now everyone in darwin loves the sikhs.
Same with the vietnamese in brisbane, big vietnamese food festivals and the greek food festival is the biggest food event in brisbane.

if i was advising the muslims, i'd say they should wack on a free food, meet and greet and get out in the parks and win over the hearts and minds of the community.
