There is a difference between role segregation and inequality. Just as it is possible to have a moral standard that doesnt include all possible options. An all-inclusive moral code is in fact, not moral at all. Morals are by defintion, standards that exclude some behaviour.

i went to a Greek birthday party about 10 years ago where the men sat out on the pergola and ate first, while the women were made to stay in the kitchen/dining area and eat only after all the menfolk had eaten ... the only time they came out was to serve the men

damned if I didn't feel bad for my girlfriend at the time. We were unaware this would be the case when we went .

funny thing was not a single one of them was Islamic. Cheesy
