If your so concerned about muslim misogyny and backwardness I don't understand why you cant jump to your feet and proudly answer "Yes" I have no objections to women being priests and to homosexuals enjoying homosexual sex with each other without condemnation by our christian religions. Instead I get evasive answers like "define what you mean by sin". Please!!!!

Yes yes I'm sure there are many muslims that kill and countenance the killing of homosexuals just as there are many christians who do so. Now. Were you going to jump to your feet and prove to us that your not a misogynist in your way and declare your support for the ordination of women priests and scream your support for homosexuals to enjoy homosexual sex with each other without christian condemnation. It really is a simple thing to do if you believe it.

I don't believe in this system of politics and I certainly don't believe that its democratic. I believe in a direct democracy because I don't believe in choosing others to make decisions for us (which is the ultimate nanny state) but rather we want a system where we make decisions ourselves. Now I think that makes you much more of a rusted on fool then I am. And besides, I've seen enough of your posts to know that although you deny you vote liberal in your heart you're a rusted on fool of a liberal.

How did you go at primary school?

When I did my first year in Psychology we had a tutorial by a stand-in tutor we had never seen before. At the end of the tute we generally agreed he was the worst and stupidest person we had ever met. Turns out he was the Head of the Department! Most lecturers were excellent in all subjects. But there were a few that were really, really not.

I agree that it shouldn't be necessary on a forum like this to preface everything you say with in my opinion... since that should be taken as given. But there are times when it is necessary because otherwise it might appear that you are making a statement of fact. Sure you don't believe that segregation of the kind we're discussing is islamic but clearly many muslims not only believe it but also believe that you are unislamic for not believing it. Therefore in the context of a discussion like this, to say that that is not islamic is not really helpful. Far better in my opinion to acknowledge that that's the way some muslims think and that it needs to be addressed. Don't get me wrong, with all the brain-dead hysterical lunatics out there just waiting to pounce on anything they can argue is wrong about islam I can understand your reticence but your a logical guy, you ever think that maybe its time I gave this whole religion thang the flick. I mean, look at all the lunatics that identify with being muslims or christians or buddists etc. Do you really want to be lumped in with them.
