If America did go to the moon in these days and times under no circumstance would it be for humanitarian exploration. The US Flag (now made in China) would be replaced with one that would say "Micro$oft" or "Apple" or "AT&T", or "British Petroleum."

Of course, Haliburton would be there stripping every inch of the lunar landscape for any mineral deposit it can find; fracking would also be taking place and a McDonald's would be on every corner.
