In a sane world, a nation like Australia would simply decide to BAN the PRACTICE of ISLAM, within Australia.
How?
Easy.
All it would take, would be for our federal parliament to pass legislation to BAN the PRACTICE of ISLAM, within Australia.
To make ISLAM a proscribed philosophy, within Australia.
Actually, a sane world would ban the practice of any organised religion...
How?
Easy, at least in Australia.
All it would take, would be for our federal parliament to pass legislation to BAN the PRACTICE of ORGANISED religion, within Australia.
To make ORGANISED religion a proscribed act, within Australia.
There, fixed.
Of course, another very sane act would be to hold individual to account for the choices that they make, particularly when those choices are murderous, destructive and/or cause mental, physical and/or emotional harm....
Seems that this is the point some apparently very astute observers are
choosing to disregard.
This is all about choices that individuals make - on both sides of the chat...
Except such a law wouldn't last five minutes before the High Court because of Section 116 of the Australian Constitution.
