Many individuals or groups use religion as their excuse for carrying out their own perverted version of what is 'the way'.

This ISIS way respects no one and wants to kill everyone who do not agree with their own extreme and perverted version of Islam. Their religion is hate, murder and mayhem. That's about the sum total of what they represent.

The basic idea of Islam is 'submission' and Islam means just that.. trouble is that every borderline personality with little to no solid grounding will thus be swayed by every Mullah's voice he/she hears.

When some rabid Mullah spouts nonsense like 'kill all infidels' etc, and makes it sound as if this is the good oil - then every borderline character jumps at this as being the solid value and virtue it is not - it's just words by one idiot to another.
