Let's hear what your cure is? Bear in mind that ISIS are murdering other followers of Islam, they don't like the Shiites or the Sunnies...only ISIS exists for them and they are quite happy to butcher their brothers.

For one,
I'd love to see an abolishment of all religions
.

Yes, ALL of them. about 90% of the world's horrors would end overnight.

Marla,

What you are saying, is that you want to BAN free thought ?

Are you sure that you are not, a filthy stinking moslem ?

I ask,         because,
that is the exact dictate of ISLAM too
,        .....to make it a crime to believe, or to think, about anything except what ISLAM sanctions [and what moslems believe].

p.s.
Yadda would support a ban on the practice of ISLAM, here, in Australia.     [because ISLAM is a tyrannical and fascist philosophy, imo.]

But, contra-wise,        Yadda would NOT support, for example, a ban on access to, and the reading and study of the the contents of the Koran [or Hadith].          [because i want people to understand and know, exactly what it is that ISLAM promotes in the world! ]

THE HADITH....

"...the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him."
- DEAD.
hadithsunnah/bukhari/ #004.052.260

ISLAMIC LAW....
"Ibn 'Umar related that the Messenger of Allah, upon whom be peace, said, "I have been ordered to kill the people until they testify that there is no god except Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and they establish prayer and pay the zakah. If they do that, their blood and wealth are protected from me save by the rights of Islam. Their reckoning will be with Allah." (Related by al-Bukhari and Muslim.) "
fiqhussunnah/fus1_06

ISLAMIC LAW....
"Ibn 'Abbas reported that the Prophet said: "The bare essence of Islam and the basics of the religion are three [acts], upon which Islam has been established. Whoever leaves one of them becomes an unbeliever and his blood may legally be spilled. [The acts are:] Testifying that there is no God except Allah, the obligatory prayers, and the fast of Ramadan."...."
fiqhussunnah/#3.110

n.b.
"Whoever......becomes an unbeliever.....his blood may legally be spilled."

Yes, weak minded people who would be just as easily brainwashed by someone or something else, if Islam didn't exist.

These weak minded, evil bastards are the ones who are ultimately to blame for terrorist attacks - not a religion, or a book (unless you've seen a book somewhere carrying a bomb).

Stop making excuses for them.

I would prefer they were duped into losing all their money rather than blowing up a bus.

The Iraq invasion created such a mess that ISIS could be formed.

ISIS started in Syria. Many blame our lack of intervention there.

Saddam knew what to do with terrorists -

they should have left him in power to bring law & order.

The ultimate responsibility lies with them.

Don't make excuses for evil bastards.

Don't be a terrorist apologist.

Precisely.

And let's not forget that these terrorists take their authority from the scriptural Islam.

What does that have to do with disputing the legality of being Gay or not in the ADF, FD?

Do you always resort to such childish ad hominem attacks when you've been proved wrong on a significant point?   Roll Eyes

Yes - he used to bulldoze 10's of 1000s of them into massive holes in the desert.

Having served with Gay men and women, before it was legal to be so, all I can say is good on them for recognising that they exist and that they are serving.   Makes the whole matter out in the open and no one can be attacked secretly any more for being Gay.   It is not affirmative action, I can assure you, its equal recognition.    They exist and they choose to serve, Grappler.   I've even known of a Gay Infantry NCO when I was in.   Nice chap.   Hard as nails.  Perhaps he was over-compensating?   Roll Eyes

Since when does any religion allow free thought? Religion is about control, instilling fear and gives little concern for the individual.

When ISIS invades a city they demolish it and murder innocent civilians with a bloodlust that is simply frightening in its proportions. They then tear down anything that offends their eyes including ancient and important structures built by ancient civilisations.

ISIS are nothing but a terrorist cult and will kill anyone including children that don't fit into their ideology.

They are as evil as it is possible to be.

Marla you are an idealist and very callow about how the real world works.

Marla if they came to your city, you would be one of the victims because ISIS has declared us infidels all enemies and to be murdered at every opportunity.  That is a stone cold fact.

How would you like to see ISIS in your town butchering everyone you love?

Couldn't happen...well left unchecked...yes it could. Smiley
