I think you are confusing ethics with morality.

It is ethical for the state to not murder an innocent person found guilty by a not so perfect legal system.

I suggest the issue here is not that I don't understand the difference between the two, it's you who are confused.

As for adult brothers sodomising each other, it's not morality that covers this activity, it's the people involves, it's their ethical decision that decides.

again what is you aversion to heterosexual incest?  you demand sexual equality  the rest of the time so why is THIS different?

bet you cant/wont answer

The increased risk of genetic diseases.

Just to interrupt the waltzing, peccary and greens are pro incest but wont say why, and longweekend is anti incest but won't say why not.

Looks like a stalemate.

And a win for slippery slopes.

firstly, that is an inadequate reason compared to getting AIDS from gay sex - which you support.

Secondly,  you've never heard of birth control???

so where is your REAL objection to hetero incest since you support gay incest?

In Ancient Egypt the practice was not frowned upon and royalty would often marry members of their own family in a bid to preserve their royal lineage. In fact, historians believe that the practice was common in all classes of Egyptian society.

Nine of the 11 marriages that occurred over the dynasty's 200-year reign were consanguineous, with two uncle-niece marriages and one first-cousin marriage

except that I have all of human history and the law on my side.  thats a significant advantage.  And how many people would you ask that would NEED a detailed explanation to be anti-incest?

these two boofheads are on the side suggesting a change to millenia-old orthodoxy.  They are the ones with the obligation to support their case.

15billion people have been born to this planet and you want to find 11 examples and think that is significant?  especially when NONE of them were sibling such as being debated here?

it is completely inadequate since birth control is cheap easy and effective thus nullifying your opposition.

so what is wrong with hetero-incest in your paradigm of everything goes as long as you are over the arbitrarily and biologically flawed age of 18?

Because we are still waiting you to explain your position on the topic at hand. Then we can discuss other forms.

Now try again. Do you understand the difference between ethical decisions and moral ones?

If adult men have sex and this activity has no repercussions for anyone besides those involved, why do we have to decide if their decision is ethically acceptable to us and then so legal.

no wonder you are a failed lawyer if you cant see, hear and understand and admission of being fine with incest when it is thrown in your face.

A simple question for you then, are you pro or anti incest?  And then explain your reasoning.

After all, I imagine you would not like to be accused of the same thing, of doing all you can not to answer.

And there you go again with the silly half smart playground insults instead of concentrating on the question.  How about explaining, as you said you could, why incest is illegal?
