So peoples like the americans are morality free since they support the death penalty?

I think you are confusing ethics with morality.

It is ethical for the state to not murder an innocent person found guilty by a not so perfect legal system.

I suggest the issue here is not that I don't understand the difference between the two, it's you who are confused.

As for adult brothers sodomising each other, it's not morality that covers this activity, it's the people involves, it's their ethical decision that decides.

again what is you aversion to heterosexual incest?  you demand sexual equality  the rest of the time so why is THIS different?

bet you cant/wont answer

Because we are still waiting you to explain your position on the topic at hand. Then we can discuss other forms.

Now try again. Do you understand the difference between ethical decisions and moral ones?

If adult men have sex and this activity has no repercussions for anyone besides those involved, why do we have to decide if their decision is ethically acceptable to us and then so legal.

then why does that not equally apply to adults of BOTH genders. hmm???  being a tad sexist, arent we?  and why should it be restricted to adults?  why not adolescents?  With the majority of people losing virginity WAY before 18, isnt that an artificial constraint?  So why do we have it?

you sound rather heterophobic!

except that I have all of human history and the law on my side.  thats a significant advantage.  And how many people would you ask that would NEED a detailed explanation to be anti-incest?

these two boofheads are on the side suggesting a change to millenia-old orthodoxy.  They are the ones with the obligation to support their case.

I have not seen them say that at all.  I have seen them ask you simple questions, and you doing all you can not to answer them.

After all, I imagine you would not like to be accused of the same thing, of doing all you can not to answer.

I am anti-incest and I thought that was obvious, especially since I have said so frequently. And as stated earlier, the contrarian view was made (pro incest) and according to any form of logic, they need to support their position first before the default position is defended otherwise they can be ignored.

source? link?  most historian refer only to ROYAL egyptians and then in nongenerational and cousin relationships, NOT sibling such as being discussed here.  SOme cultures considered cousins to not be incest, but NONE considered siblings or parent/child to be anything but.

can you not read? 'common in all classes of Egyptian society' .... nothing to do with royals only

and stop changing the definition of incest to suit your argument.

My question was directed at Aussie as my quote makes clear.  I hope he will not do all he can to avoid answering in his own words, such a simple question.

well folks, I will leave you two clowns to bugger off (probably literally) and to go find a sibling somewhere (male of course) so you can demonstrate your unswerving bigotry, hypocrisy and amorality.

The irony is that this thread was intended as a joke and yet, we find one gay and one gay-supporter avidly supporting incest.

I largely mocked the 'thin edge of the wedge' opposition to gay rights as being over-the-top, but based on this, maybe they have a point. Gays clearly seem to approve of gay incest and remain utterly heterophobic in every regard.

thank you for confirming the very worst people say about gays and their supporters.  I could not have planned a better demonstration of the inherent deviancy in homosexuality than what you gave us all today.

Yes.

He's a worry, that boy.

Moreover, he can't explain why he's opposed to gay incest.

He doesn't like it, but just has no idea why.

I dunno if any one was proved wrong or right.  Peccary and Greenswin were pro incest but didn't say why, long weekend was against and provided precedent as an explanation and Aussie said it was a simple question that needed an answer but so far has avoiding doing what he urged longweekend to do.

All in all a funny and informative ummm nearly a debate, some all for incest, one against, and one demanding others provide answers to simple questions but refusing to do so them self.   Roll Eyes
