Gee, I wonder if that could be because it was not me who was claiming to know why it was taboo/illegal.  That was melielongtime.

Hehehehe, you pro or anti incest?  Simple question and with an explanation why you think so.  As you said.

Surely you can answer a simple question?

I've never given it a great deal of thought as I have never been presented with the problem either personally, or even professionally for that matter..

Hehehehehehehe....how about you.  You pro or anti incest.  Surely you can answer a simple question?

This is where you came in.

Just to interrupt the waltzing, peccary and greens are pro incest but wont say why, and longweekend is anti incest but won't say why not.

Looks like a stalemate.

And a win for slippery slopes.

except that I have all of human history and the law on my side.  thats a significant advantage.  And how many people would you ask that would NEED a detailed explanation to be anti-incest?

these two boofheads are on the side suggesting a change to millenia-old orthodoxy.  They are the ones with the obligation to support their case.

I have not seen them say that at all.  I have seen them ask you simple questions, and you doing all you can not to answer them.

Not me pontificating about simple questions and doing all you can not to answer them.

That would be you,  and you are still doing all you can not to answer questions that you, not me, described as simple.

Exactly what you accused longweekend of.  Roll Eyes

Nine pages of waltzing?  Couldn't be bothered.  Maybe you can post here or your previous quote why you are pro incest then.

It hurts no one.

They are consenting adults.

It provides them with pleasure.

What they do is none of my business.

Gay incest, among adults, is perfectly OK (for others who are into that) in my book.

And that would be because melielongtime boasted that he knew the answer....yet despite that protestation, and despite being asked a simple question by more than just one poster, he never explained his knowledge of the answer and chose to ad hom dump on others.

End.

He's never done that before.

In reality, with those caveats, there is no problem with hetro incest either, especially with contraception. The negative argument of birth/child problems is easily shown to be a nonsense when there is no censure against people with known genetic incompatibility like brittle bone syndrome. I know a woman with three daughters with it whilst neither of the parents have it. They chose to have more children knowing there was a damn good chance of genetic problems. Should we legislate against them too? Not to mention, where would our Western monarchies be without interbreeding.

I'm merely erring on the side of precaution.

I don't really have a problem with hetero incest.

Moreover, nobody can tell me why I should.

Fair enough cobber, it should be put out there on an equal footing. Not that I'm into my older sis, haven't seen her in 20 years and talked to her two or three times on the phone in that time. To leave it out is a bit of cherry picking(snicker). I don't care what any consenting adult wants to do with each other as long as I don't have to watch, it's sad so many people act like they are forced to watch or be involved.

Has Longy answered yet? I couldn’t be bothered scrolling through all the denials.

It’s clear to me now that Longy is in a non-consentual relationship with his father or son and, for obvious reasons, does not want to disclose such confidential information.

We all support you, Longy. It’s good you’ve finally come clean.

I actually thing longy has a totally different relationship. Let me tell it with rhyme, rhyming slang, and metaphor with a little poem I have written for him.

Ode to the Monkey Spanker, Longy.

He abuses his little monkey
And spanks it till it cries
Beats it with out mercy
Till it's lifeless 'tween his thighs

Then as bruised and defiled it lies
In a pool of it's own tears
He wipes the oozing from it's eye
Before it can adhere.

Absolutely nothing. We all support incest here - with informed consent.

I think it would help Longy if he gave up his denial. The truth would set him free, as it were.

Man up, Longy. We all support you.

Yes, it’s sad.

I, for one, think he’s really very brave.

Is longy Oedipus? I never would have guessed!
