No. HIV-1, group M, subtype B is the most comon form of HIV in Western countries.

Whilst there is no set type of infection within the clades, different types show affinity with different maodes of transmission.

Some subgroups infect through vaginal sex more readily but the major factor in MSM transmission is anal vulnerability.

HIV-1 M subtype B, for example, shows lesser infection rates amongst IDUs than other subgroups.

Longy's integrity. This was his response to his writing challenge - before he left the board and turned into Maria.

He's just announced his intention to do the same again, over in our Great Writing Challenge thread.

Poor Longy. We gave him so many opportunities to redeem himself too. We never wanted him to leave, just have a go.
