New Zealand is progressive like that.

I bet they have Euthanasia before we do too.

Hopefully greenswine will get over there as soon as that happens, and maybe you could join him.

I cannot believe what I've just read.

You are not evidently gender diverse.

I'm a bloody girl. End of.

And I've got the relevant bits to prove it...along with a freaking caesarean scar across my tummy.

Why is EVERYTHING so needlessly complicated now?

You can blame Gender Studies, the most noxious (and most mocked) subject available at universities. Young people go to this course to learn (falsly) that gender can be whatever you want it to be and you can choose anyone of 43 (yes 43) different gender options. Having spoken to a few people who have been thru the course the lecturers shoudl be jailed for abuse. 20yo guys claiming that their gender changes on the basis of who they are with at the time. or 18yos claiming they are transgender on the basis of...  nothing much at all.

Transgender is a real problem for a very very tiny minority of people.  for the rest of us however, our gender is identical to our sexual identity and does not change.  The idicoy is when you hear clowns claiming they are transgender because they occasionally wear womens knickers for a kick.

too much time on their hands.  You will also notice that no one who goes to gender studies is also doing their Masters Degree in engineering. Usually it is an arts degree majoring in womens studies and cross-stitch.

If male and female brains are so different as to be able to say one doesn't match your genitalia, what does that say about the notion that males and females are equal at everything?

I don't think anybody has ever claimed that males and female are equal at everything.

Actually, men tend to be better at short term, high energy actions i.e running down animals on the hunt, whereas women are able to sustain a 'medium', constant level of exercise all day.

Yes i did. You said is was claimed by some person or people that remain nameless that men and women are equal at everything.

You did mention the word brain in there but your writing is not good enough to have tied the word to what you are now claiming was your intent.

You should make yourself clearer if your going to get huffy.

Which would be why women are much better endurance athletes.  Oh....wait...

But again, not much to do with brain structure either.

Ok is this a clear enough question

If men and women have distinct brain types, is one type better suited to certain tasks than the other?

Generally speaking, yes.

But the proclivity for these skills occur upon a spectrum ... much like gender.
