It's not funny at all. It's quite predictable, actually.

Polls move towards the Coalition ... he's shouting from the rooftops.
Polls move back towards Labor ... he's nowhere to be seen.

It's silly ... beating up the numbers of one poll makes as much sense as remarking that the latest Tattslotto numbers have drawn six numbers below 30. It's the same process - random chance.

The only thing that matters is the trend. The consistent trend lately is that the poll numbers are wandering around the 52-48 mark, and this poll does nothing to suggest that this is about to change.
