I read a book about a scam run by the church where this very handsome charismatic Priest was used to raise money from wealthy ... mainly Texas oil barons.. mostly women widows you see....it was quite enlightening...and all true.. he didnt realise he was being used until much later after he had raised zillions for the church.. they were even left shards of oil filled land...as one dies he popped off to the next.. and would hold their hands and sort of make them fall in love with him  and they would have his complete attention...a sort of personal priest if you like...

it fell apart when one family took him to court after he got left most of their oil wells......and they did some investigating..

They do mega churches over there.....this an one example, the numbers represent weekly attendance.....God is big in Texas.

In 2006 there were 177 mega churches in Texas, that's not even counting the other churches.

You know that not everything on the site you posted is a mosque or musallah don't you? First listing is a radio station.

There is a boy scout hall near me which is used as a musallah.  On Fridays no-one can park or go anywhere near it.  Taxis, government buses and cars park and double park in all the side streets within a 500 metre radius of it for at least 2 hours.  Council does nothing. 

You would say "It's just a boy scout hall".  I would say "It's not!".

The site I gave is a specific Islamic site and I should think they would have more knowledge about where their mosques and musallahs are than your google "living in Sydney" site.

Google is not always your friend.
