Well done, Gandalf.  You know your subject.  I wonder if melielongtime will respond with a piece in support of Islam?  Or even freediver for that matter.

Longy aren't you supposed to be arguing the opposite of what you actually believe?

Ive already done that and then listened to the Karnal/Aussie tantrum show.  This time I just wrote what I wanted to and was my own opinion.  I can do the 'opposite to my opinion' gig, but that needs someone to join the fun and so far, all takers have fled.

That’s strange. We had the competition, and you fled. Then, by all accounts, you lost.

After a rematch, eh?

Sorry, Longy, you had your chance.

You’re done.

Freediver is perfectly capable of writing this. Unfortunately, he’s incapable of thinking it.

So far, I agree. I need time to give it a decent read.

Let’s see if FD puts it in the Wiki - the best example of taqiyya we’ve seen here yet.

Truly excellent work, Gandalf
. Your writing style is very good. Fast-paced, informative and compelling.

I am curious as why you fell bad about writing it? was it the content or that it is the opposite of your point of view?  Either way, a truly great effort so thanks.

see, Karnal.... THATS how it is done.  And I am not claiming plagiarism either. We leave that to you.

Good point, Longy. Feel free to comment on my own entry. You know where it is.

If you ever write a piece for the challenge, you’ll get a big tick from me just for trying. We both know you won’t.

Gandalf has definitely written a better essay than mine, but he didn’t have Bill Shorten as his subject matter.

I blame Islam.
