Of course, a wealthy American dentist has ALL the skills and contacts to achieve such a result from such an act!

If he managed it on his own, then he deserves the head - he worked for it. If he didn't, then everyone else involved was complicit in the crime.

Let's have all the boo-hoos here tell us all about what CAN'T be bought with enough money.

Greenpeace is worth how much money?

How many children have starved to death while this subject is discussed?

Walter Palmer Dentist is an example of what is happening to what is left of the beautiful wildlife in Africa.

Butchers like him will keep at it until nothing is left. The South African Government seem to lack the will and or the ability to protect what is left of their magnificent animal kingdom.

The world will be a sorry place when lions no longer roam the veld.

I would blame any western world person who bribes their way into these counties and pays $$$ just to kill an animal because they can buy their way in..

they should know.. and they DO KNOW better..

this guy has already been charged in the past for killing protected animals..

if they get him back to SA he could get 15 years..

The game hunting in Africa is regulated by the governments,the animals they hunt have no impact on wild numbers because they were never in the wild.

People pay huge amounts of money to hunt in one of the poorest parts of the world,if it's done properly the local people really benefit and it helps animal conservation.

Poaching is a serious offence,they shoot poachers who take animals without paying for them.
It sounds like this guy had the money but paid the wrong people.

I am not into the trophy side of things,when a tiger escaped from a zoo in the USA and was shot should they skin it and sell the fur?

If you object to fur then surely you would have to object to leather in shoes-belts-jackets-wallets-handbags-skirts-underwear-leather chairs and lounges-car interiors-etc or you would be a bit of a hypocrite in my opinion.
