Turkey attacks Kurds
Jul 31st, 2015 at 11:22am

Quote:
Turkish jets launched their heaviest assault on Kurdish militants in Northern Iraq overnight since air strikes began last week,hours after President Erdogan said a peace process had become impossible.

The strikes hit Kurdistan workers party PKK targets including shelters,depots and caves in six areas, a statement from Ahmet Davutoglu's office said.

Iraq condemned the airstrikes as a dangerous escalation and an assault on Iraqi sovereignity.

But Turkey's assaults on the PKK have so far been much heavier than its strikes against the Islamic state,fuelling suspicions that its real agenda is keeping Kurdish political and territorial ambitions in check,something the government denies.

Of the 1302 people arrested in what officials have described as a full fledged battle against terrorist groups in recent days,847 are accused of links to the PKK and just 137 to Islamic state.

Apparently,for the government of Turkey,ISIS,which engages in mass murder,ethnic cleansing,mass rape and sexual slavery,is preferable to the Kurds,who resist ISIS and demand rights and liberties which have been taken away by the repressive regimes that rule over them.

The Kurds have the Islamic state on the back foot recently taking huge ground off them,Turkey responds by bombing the Kurds.

The kurds say Turkey is dropping bombs in empty fields and claiming that as attacks on the Islamic state.
The vast majority of the attacks are against the Kurds, they released the Islamic state people in Turkey and jailed over 800 Kurds

Quote:
Today, the womens YPJ says it makes up about 40% of the total Kurdish military in the region.

Once a woman joins the Kurdish guerrilla group,she must spend at least a month practising military tactics and studying political theories from the Kurdish diaspora leader Abdullah Ocalan.
dckurd.org/2015/07/30/these-female-kurdish-soldiers-wear-their-femininity-with-p...

These women are learning from that atheist Abdullah Ocalan instead of the quran,perhaps that's why every muslim in that area hates the kurds.

At 45 seconds into the video I posted it says the Kurds enemies say they are commie atheists.
Lots of Christians and yazidis in that video as well, they are not muslims, they even have a muslim apostate,the kurds don't persecute apostates from Islam.

I have a few Aljazeera articles to post,lots of comments saying the kurds should become good muslims again like Saladin instead of following commie atheism.

I’d just like to know why the Turks would send sorties out at half a million a pop to bomb empty bits of desert.

Questions, questions.

The Baron, even Soren believes that it is impossible for Muslims to be modernist in their views about women, beliefs, etc.   Not sure why but they do, /dev/null.   Roll Eyes

Brian,

Here is the man himself, 'modernist', Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish President

IMAGE...
...
This man, 'modernist', Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish President was democratically elected to office.

Now i ask;
What did this man, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who himself USED a democratic process to become an elected ISLAMIST leader in Turkey, say about;

jurisdictional law ???

secularism ???

the democratic process ???

Google;
Erdogan, "Sovereignty Belongs Unconditionally and Always To Allah"

Google;
Erdogan, "One Cannot Be a Muslim, and Secular"

ALSO, see below, what 'modernist' Recep Tayyip Erdogan had to say to Turkish immigrants, living in Germany.

Quote:

Turkish PM to Muslims in Germany: "Assimilation is a crime against humanity"

    Cologne, Germany -- A crowd of 16,000 expatriate Turks cheered Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a vast indoor auditorium in Germany on Sunday as he told them to resist assimilation into the West.

    ...."Assimilation is a crime against humanity," he told the crowd. Many Turks had travelled from France, Belgium and the Netherlands to hear his hour-long address in the shiny venue, the Koelnarena.

http://www.jihadwatch.org/2008/02/turkish-pm-to-muslims-in-germany-assimilation-...

<------

n.b.

When using the word, 'humanity' above, Recep Tayyip Erdogan is referring singularly, to the elevated spiritual nature of the moslem.

Because ISLAM [whose tenets and laws, Recep Tayyip Erdogan is familiar with], states that infidels are vile animals, that can be slaughtered.     [see info at the bottom of this post]

To the pure moslem, the infidel is not a part of humanity.

.

Still searching for 'modernist' moslems ?

Well, what about, for example, 'modernist' Malaysia ???

Coz everyone knows
       that Malaysia is a modern moslem country, which practices a 'secular', 'tolerant' version of ISLAM !!

Grin

Do some Googling;

"Malaysia's Prime Minister: LGBTs, liberalism, and pluralism are enemies of Islam"
"Last Malaysian Hindu temple in central Kuala Lumpur condemned, given five days to vacate"
"Malaysian temple condemned, temple staff and devotees given 15 minutes to leave"
"Malaysian government views LGBT community as a 'spreading problem' to be stopped"
"Malaysian deputy prime minister: Islam not compatible with freedom, liberal thought"
"Yet another Malaysian non-Muslim house of worship demolished"

'Unbelievers' = = don't even 'rate' as human beings.

To ISLAM, only moslems are human beings.

Google;
unbelievers, are sons of apes and pigs

Google;
Non-Muslims, Worse than Animals

Mainstream ISLAMIC doctrine, and activated Jihadis, regard ALL non-moslems ['unbelievers'] as 'guilty' people, who may be 'lawfully' killed by moslems.

"...A harbi has no rights, not even the right to live."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harbi

Who, or what, is a harbi ???

Harbi is an Arabic/ISLAMIC word, it means "one under a declaration of war".

Essentially a 'harbi' is a non-moslem who rejects ISLAM's authority [to make law for every society of man].

Turkey's bombing attacks on Kurds [while claiming to also be targeting ISIS], is a means by which Tayyip Erdogan's can increase/strengthen his own political position WITHIN TURKEY, at the cost of hampering or limiting the fight against ISIS [which is being conducted by the Kurds]!!

Why can't the US administration see that ?

Is it because the influence of the US administration, in the ME today, is so precarious ! ?

The truth is that Turkey's bombing attacks 'against ISIS' are causing many more casualties among the Kurds [WHO ARE A WORTHY AND DANGEROUS OPPONENT TO ISIS!!!], than injury to ISIS!

Why won't the US administration acknowledge thaat ?

Is it because the influence of the US administration, in the ME today, is so precarious ! ?

Quote:

.....The strikes against Islamic State by the Turkish air force, and the decision to grant the US Air Force permission to use the Incirlik base near Adana constitute a feint.

....Why, then, has Erdogan decided to move against the Syrian Kurds?

Since January, Kurdish political stock has been steadily rising in the West. In the Kurdish YPG (Peoples' Protection Units), the US found a reliable, non-Islamist ally that was willing and capable to act as a ground force against Islamic State in northern Syria.

The combination of the YPG on the ground, and the USAF in the skies proved sufficient to save the besieged town of Kobani, and then to push the jihadis back to Tel Abyad in the east and to the outskirts of Jarabulus in the west.

.....No less important, the favorable publicity accruing to the Kurds because of their fight against Islamic State, and the presence of women fighters and secular Western volunteers in their ranks, served to turn the Syrian Kurds from a forgotten minority into the recipient of favorable and growing Western attention.

Still worse, from the Turkish point of view, the entirety of the remaining border area not under Kurdish control (with the exception of a tiny enclave around the town of Azaz) was in the hands of Islamic State. The logic of the situation thus appeared to suggest that a Kurdish offensive west of the Euphrates to drive Islamic State from the region, with the help of US air power, might be in the offing.

....But most urgently, the Turkish move into Syria is directed against the advances – physical and political – made by Syria's Kurds in the course of the past year. Just how far Erdogan will go in pursuit of the goal of turning back the clock in Syrian Kurdistan remains to be seen. But contrary to much Western reporting, Turkey's entry into the war in Syria does not constitute a belated reconciling by Ankara of a Western-led agenda vis-à-vis the war. Rather, Erdogan is carrying out a bait-and-switch move, founded on partnering with Sunni Islamist groups in order to reduce or destroy Kurdish aspirations.

http://www.meforum.org/5416/erdogan-northern-syria

Turkey under the direction of Tayyip Erdogan, is NOT our friend or ally.

Far from it.
