martyr noun: One who suffers death as the penalty for refusing to renounce their religion

prophet noun: One who possesses knowledge of, (and predicts) the future (usually said to be obtained from a divine source).

muslims have bastardized language since day one.

They call a muslim who dies while killing you for your religious (or lack of) beliefs, a martyr.

They call muhammad who never predicted the future, only uttered words which justified thieving, lying, rape, torture and mass murder, a prophet.

Jesus did predict this. He said he would be betrayed by Peter 3 times, etc, etc, etc. Apparently he sweated blood in the Garden of Gethsemene worrying about his fate.

He really wasn't, Muhammad was all about prophecy. He was a bloke who claimed to speak for a deity (most obviously in the form of the Quran, until it was supposedly later written down), which makes him a prophet.

It's really quite a simple concept, if you claim to speak for a deity, you are a prophet. See also Joseph Smith etc. A prophet isn't a fortune teller.

When I briefly attended some services at a charismatic baptist church there were prophets there too, people who claimed to deliver a message straight from God to you.

Can't see much point being a prophet if you have no prophecies. (A prediction uttered under divine inspiration.)

muhammad was heavy into vindication for muslims committing human rights atrocities, inconsequential in the prophecy department if one takes prophecy to mean: A prediction uttered under divine inspiration.

Just depends which side of the fence you want to be on.

I can accept that muhammad was a prophet for the satanic allah, who was deficient when it comes to uttering a divine prediction.

Jesus was a prophet and messenger.

messenger-Sent with a message being the bible/gospel.

prophet- person inspired from the creator at the will of the creator.

Again, prophecy is not prediction. It is speaking on behalf of a deity.
