I find the 'form' of worship within many Christian churches today particularly idolatrous.

Jesus in Revelation, and, in the Gospels, said that he hated those hypocrites, who use the authority of 'religion' [turning religion into a 'beastly', false, worldly 'spirituality'], so as to rule over men.

Almost every religion of man seems to do this.

Some religions [more than others] go to extreme lengths, to exert their authority over their adherents/devotees.

Did Jesus intend his church to take the form of the political structures which had always been used by men ?
