I admit, if I had to live in an Islamic country, it would be Turkey. But that only makes it the best of a bad lot. I would not chose Turkey over Germany for example. How can you even try to convince people that Islam leads to a society full of "tolerance", "compassion", "respect", and then try to explain why it is not safe for even Muslim refugees to live in a country like Turkey? If there was ever an Islamic country that Islam could be proud of, that is the country. And yet even that nation has no "tolerance", "compassion", "respect", for not just other people, but even other Muslims Shocked

Perhaps you share Gregory's view that if they were not Muslim, they would be raping and pillaging their way across western Sydney for some other unrelated reason?

The US Army are not terrorists.

Islam is not terrorist.

Terrorism has nothing to do with Islam OR religion. It is political in some way. Either to exert control or to fight for a cause against a larger adversary.

Turkey is a Refugee convention signatory. SO are Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria. They have all pledged to abide by the convention.

So? Are you sating that Muslim signatories to the Convention are selective in who they give asylum to? That they are not true to their pledge?
