We're better than the criminals.

No we're not ..... we're criminal in having a system that allows for early releases of these scum who often re-offend & thus perpetuate the abuse by failing to protect the innocent.

That's criminal & no amount of sugar coated, sanctimonious rhetoric will ever justify it.

You can't easily prevent such crimes, but the same is true of all crimes. We can minimise but not eliminate.
