Because I wore one earring? You must live a sheltered life.

No, I said you were keen to read about cleaning your jewelry. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

We have only your word for it.

You must live a really sheltered, institutional, life if you haven’t seen blokes wearing earrings.

Try coming going out more.  Cheesy

Corrected.

Soooo....you're an Oxford Street type of guy.

All these years I've been hearing these PA rumours about you.

Finally, today. The truth.

Seems they were right all along about you.

Monk, not only are you a poof... you're also very proud of it.

Goodo lol!

Glad we sorted something out in here today. Tongue

bwahaha I would have thought the sort of flat you live in you would see blokes with earrings, nose rings etc. But live in your own alternate version of reality if you like, the one where you own 10 properties and grow broadbeans that grow 50cm in 3 weeks from planting the seed  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

On the weekend, I found some pieces of jewellery from when I turned 16, 18 and 21...all given to me by my Mum ( so yep...they have sentimental value ).

Now, these 3 pieces are from Europe and are therefore typically 14 carat gold.

And they're all tarnished  Cry

How do I clean them? Can I clean them here at home or must they be professionally cleaned?

Anyone here know?

NB. I've not had this problem with any of my other jewellery which are 18 carat gold Australian pieces.

When  jewellers "professionally clean" jewellery, they just chuck it in an ultrasonic bath and walk away.  You could buy a cheap one from super cheap auto for maybe $100 and start your own "professional cleaning" service.

Nooooo. They use these specially treated cloths.

I bought one for $10 off them and have now cleaned all my jewellery items.

Beautiful result.

Very gentle on the gold etc too.

Ask any jeweller you pass by about it Hunky.
