TWO activists have been dragged off stage at a Muslim conference after gatecrashing the event naked from the waist up.

The women were seen bolting onto the main stage in the city of Pointoise, near Paris, with messages on their bodies saying ‘‘Nobody makes me submit’.

Reports claim that the two imams were discussing if men are allowed to beat their wives or not, according to Islam’s teachings.

Security guards and other men were quick to violently drag them off the stage.

It’s believed the women belonged to controversial feminist group, Femen, who are well known for their nude protests.

Prior to the event, nearly 6,000 people signed a petition protesting the conference.

The stunt outraged some social media users with a number calling for the pair to be stoned.

Femen activists staged a topless protest at St Peter’s Square in the Vatican last December.
