He is eagerly critical of all sorts of things to the point of being a dogged idiot (as long as that is not 'illegal') but show him an Allahu Akhbaring Muslim executing a police employee on the street and he will squirm and writhe and insist it's nuffin' to do wiv radicalised Muslim youths, or with allahu akhbaring, or just coming from the mosque (this was all happening on a Friday afternoon) or anything remotely related to Islam or that the boy was a Muslim.

He is petrified of admitting that he too is seeing the obvious, like everyone else. He thinks this makes him a unique, clever, free-thinking individual. But it just shows him as the painstakingly pettifogging, persnickety, pedantic pierrot he is.

. Gregs about as free thinking as a muslim in a mosque. Gregs just a silly little man out for a drama, any drama. He couldn't give a fat rats about muslims or gays (gays maybe) its all about laying down some bait and getting a response.

The fact all he can manage late at night is mothra speaks volumes. More like lonely old man in armchair with internet access than anything else.
