Disorderliness is.  If it happened once, it would be a tragedy. If it happened twice, it would be a tragedy with an urgent call to corrective action. But it is happening regularly, every few years.

You were going so well up to this point. For a fleeting moment I thought you were actually going to make an insightful point about the inherent risks of having 2 million people together in one place and the need to implement more stringent controls.

but then you descended into...

Mecca is the Islamic Disney Land.

What do we have lets see.

Come to Mecca with your brothers only, non muslims NOT WELCOME!

Right there you are at a home. No need to explain your religions failures historically and scientifically and theologically right there.

Lets see.

We have Ihram where you must first work yourself up into a state that we call holiness, most forms accepted and here we wack on a dress code also so you feel welcome and part of the festivities.

Next we have Tawaf , enter a big assed Grand Mosque, and walk seven times around a meteorite stone and kiss it if you don't get killed in the frenzied trampling ritual. If you feel you cant get in their just point to it that will do. Then chuck in a couple prayers for posterity.

Moving right along next we have Sa'ay here we have our aerobics workout where you can run or walk between a couple hills if it gets too hot you can use our state of the art air conditioned tunnels. Kids love this one since its a bad ass desert. Here we take a hair sample as well but remember only run between the two green pillars we are not responsible for what may happen to you if you don't.

On Dhu al-Hijjah you can just hang and pray and relax.
The second day we repent at arafat until the sun sets. You really need to do this one or you wont be allowed on any other rides.

Here is a personal fav of mine only here at Mecca do you get to stone the devil cause after all he is just a set of 3 pillars batteries sold separately

After that you can kick back at some good old fashioned BBQ  and slaughter some animals and kick back and reminisce at the plagiarizing and remake of the story of abraham and ishmael and isaac.

Moving right along into the Tawaf Al-Ifaadah ride through the mosque again for another tawaf.

On the fourth day you get to chuck more stones and rocks because lets face it those bad assed pillars just need to go. This is great for the inner child in all of us.

After cracking out a Tawaf al-Wida bid farewell to your brothers in arms you are on your way.

Dress ups, stone throwing with the best of em and the meteorite rock washing machine whats not to enjoy.

Stuff Disneyland / Tomorrow World and Dance festivals here at Mecca gods got you covered.

Literally.

I was going to post an image from '2001, A Space Odyssey' as a parody.
But '2001' is spiritual and meaningful.

Quote:
.............................A tale recorded by Ibn Al-Kalbi has Muhammad's grandfather Abdul Mutallib vowing to sacrifice one of his ten children. He consulted the arrows of Hubal to find out which child he should chose. The arrows pointed to his son Abd-Allah, the future father of Muhammad. However, he was saved when 100 camels were sacrificed in his place. According to Tabari, Abdul Mutallib later also brought the infant Muhammad himself before the image.[4]

After defeat by Muhammad's forces at the Battle of Badr, Abu Sufyan ibn Harb, leader of the Quraysh army, is said to have called on Hubal for support to gain victory in their next battle, saying "Show your superiority, Hubal". [5] When Muhammad conquered Mecca in 630, he removed and had destroyed the statue of Hubal, along with the other 360 images at the Kaaba, and re-dedicated the structure to Allah.[6]........

Some dim people think Lighty is foolish.

I have known lighty for some time and found him to be honest and a good being.
His beliefs are not mine and he and I certainly exist in peace here.

Muslims are easily pleased -

give them a wall & a few stones to throw at it.

What pathetic imbeciles.

many blessings

such hatred in your life ,

humble like the dust ?

you are forgiven

so be at peace

Dear master Light,

I don't want to be forgiven for that -

Muslims are imbeciles -

throwing stones at a wall.

I've got an idea for a business -

I'll charge Muslims $5 to throw some stones at a wall.

A better deal than flying to Saudi Arabia!

Life would be boring if we all thought the same when it came to the minor details.
