NASA to share 'major' Mars science discovery

Space agency NASA has excited space fans across the globe with the news it is set to announce a "major science finding" that solves a mystery about Mars.

A panel of five high-profile scientists will participate in the news conference at NASA's headquarters in Washington tomorrow (from 1:30am AEST), which will also be streamed live online.

Speculation has been rife online with many hoping for the news to outline details of the discovery of life on the Red Planet.

Likely the announcement will be concerning running water on Mars, rather than actual life ... yet it's only a matter of time before we discover life out there.

Question, do we have the right to trash all alien life as we have trashed  all life on our home planet?

And if the answer is yes, should we expect the same treatment down the track when we discover a more powerful species than us apes?

NASA will report that Ozpolitic denizens and artful deniers lee and Maria Costel have denied the existence of Mars causing NASA to close down it's operations on Mars.
