Half the nation would not know who the PM is cods.  That is why I reckon voting ought not be an automatic right.

What is the  point of having better people in the senate if the cretins are still in the house of reps ??
They will just be reviewing rubbish that the cretins have given them.

merlin,  i think most true conservatives have turned their back on governments .

the bible , for example is a practical and spiritual book which i find useful but the high priests of christianity are not useful at all.

in the same way fountainhead and atlas shrugged are practical and spiritual books for the rightard but our high priests are not rightard at all. they are big government type of guys when all true conservatives reject government and should be seeking to "starve the beast"

so i would read some of ayn rands holy texts and then move on , flying as low under the radar as possible and realise that politics is really just a distraction in the same way that facebook, candy crush and the footy are.  somewhat entertaining but really of trivial importance to your success.

and a smart conservative would never spend significant time on such insignificant things.

you mention Miss Hansen who ended up in jail.

surely a smarter course of action would have been for her to study business at night school, expand her fish ans chips business, start a fish and chips franchise, start a family trust, invest her money, buy some waterfornt property and retire.  what good did all her work achieve. very little.  a true conservative works harder on themselves then they ever would on their job. pauline worked pretty hard and ended up with a criminal record and bankrupt.

how pitiful!!

When politicians offer you something for nothing, or something that sounds too good to be true, it's always worth taking a careful second look.

Above Malcolm Turnbulls's shoulders?  Anyone who takes over from Tony and changes not one whit of Tony's policies, but actually makes them worse - has very little upstairs.

Proves you don't need brains, guts or a heart to earn money out of merchant banking... just a lot of grift.

cods and a few other here expect the Senate to touch its collective forelock, and supinely raise their bums for any legislation the lower house wants.  Talk about a rump parliament....

No idea of how our democracy works...... but they understand pure Fascism, even when they are incapable of recognising it.

I think rather that government has turned its back on true conservatives....

You're falling into a Long Maria style here - no capitals and suspect grammar.  I thought more highly of you.

There is no evidence of the existence of a muslim, mohammed,or quran until 60 years  after mohammed was supposed to have died. Grin Grin Grin Posting on islam just encourages them and is a waste of time.
