As to the rest, Aussie has put a thread up for ALL people to record what they think of as abuse.

You seem to intimate that Aussie is the ONLY poster being personal there and taking things out of context...

Here's the thing though, actual abuse is just that, regardless of context - I can't believe how few people here (including you) seem to get that.

What seems the case though more often than not (Aussie included) is that we only seem to see the abuse of those we dislike or disagree with. Worse still, we excuse, ignore or justify our own, our "allies" or those we get on with/agree with abuses consistently. That lacks integrity - now please be clear Cods - that's not just YOU but most certainly includes you.

It's a pretty simple equation - if one attacks what is said, it is very hard for that to be framed as abuse - if one attacks who says it - it often is ultimately abuse... Hence this idea that using posters names in thread titles (particularly derogatorily) is a form of abuse.

I would not deny you have copped more than your fair share of abuse - unreasonably so.

That said, it does not make any of your own abuse OK...

It all seems like fun and games as long as the target is someone else...

Perhaps you need to PM the mods regarding the thread with your name in it that you say is still there, or perhaps not - obviously that's your choice.
