We could just say "Australian" but you idiots would then "wonder" whether we meant a Chinese Australian, a Rwandan Australian, a Mexican Australian, and so on and so forth.

We just mean an Australian. A normal, fair skinned Australian. But to save this idiocy and feigned confusion, we've added "white", and you still find a reason to complain. Maybe we could just refer to them as "bogans" instead. Then you'd know exactly who we're talking about.
