Well...in The Tavern's "Relationship Matters" topic (just before it was trashed by Aussie who is now banned from there)...I tried to bring this issue up there.
That topic is now locked.
But I'm not going to remain silent.
I recently posted about my own mum in there.
For no reason and without warning, last week she pushed me causing me to fall. The good thing was that the kids were already taken by their dad to the car so no one witnessed the event.
The resultint bruising to my arm and leg which I've been hiding from everyone though isn't nice....it reminds me of the shock I got. But that's nothing compared to the bruising in my heart.
Today, I'm expected to go to my mum's to help her out. It's my turn to do so.
The cause of her aggression (I've only just found this out) is due to her terminal illness. There's a region of the brain which governs our behaviour, aggression etc apparently. Her MRI scans have consistently shown growing abnormalities in that region.
So her aggression has a valid reason IMO. But it still doesn't make things easy.
Lord knows what I'm in for this afternoon. I'm not taking the kids with me in case they witness anything aggressive.
Anyway...that's my confession.
