Here's a hint: the greens redundant rainbow feel good diplomacy doesn't work in this case. It really is either a madman who at least defends minorities vs madmen who don't discriminate against anyone when it comes to killing.

I meant ... educate yourself ... and an add on ... stop putting your words into other poster's mouth.

I think if anyone needs to educate themselves on the issues relating to the middle east it is the pretend left wing that you represent. It is because of people like you, constantly criticising and never offering an adequate solution, that groups such as ISIS are end up thriving.

What is the Greens alternative? To block ears and eyes, and pretend everything will be okay?

You blundered in and have been off the mark on the issue.
You are in no position to question other's views when you have revealed you don't understand the situation.

Alternative to what?

Going in blindly without a plan, without an exit strategy and be drawn in further ... just to repeat it again and again and again.

Greens :
Step one ... have a debate in parliaments and let's hear what Turnbull's mob and the Labor mob's plans are. And when everyone can see both are suicide missions, then listen to the Greens plan.

There are Kurds fighting Assad and ISIS in Syria and fighting ISIS in Iraq. Doing a good job too, tho they lack heavy weapons. So, if the Russkies didn’t bomb ISIS did they bomb the Kurds perhaps?
