THERE is no “I” in team, as the saying goes. Likewise, there is not a single mention of the Liberal Party on the front page of Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull’s website. The word “Coalition” is also conspicuous by its complete absence.

But another word appears more than 70 times on that front page alone: Malcolm.

Clearly, the new Prime Minister wants to preserve his previous image as someone above party politics — even as he holds the top job in the land. And he also wants to build different teams, as his mini-summit this week with various business and union leaders demonstrated.

I can well believe this. I have no trust at all in Turnbull, he has set the Liberal Party back many years, and they can no longer hold themselves up as a united party.

I think it's funny the conservatives going into meltdown over Turnbull, the Liberal party are NOT a Conservative party they are a mix of conservative and Liberal. In fact the only conservatives ever to be lead the party as PMs were Howard, Abbott and McMahon all the others were Liberals.
It is funny to see the loony right attempt to rewrite history though. Roll Eyes

My last point is how many of you will preference a coalition candidate lower than a Labor candidate?

when Abbott won the leadership he made it very clear he was not happy with turnbulls policy change.. he even walked out of parliament house....turnbull saw it coming and it wasnt POLL driven...

sorry mate you will have to do better than that comparison... this is shortarse gillard and shortarse and krudd all over again.. POLL driven.. sneaky underhand and not what I expect from an Australian govt....

of course we know by the silence that the left were not horrified by what went on...I was still am.. and find what the Libs did even worse....

and I am not backing down from it..this is not liberal policies...it is not the Liberal way of doing things.. at least it wasnt..
