There's a lot of focus of discussion on Garrett (which is not unreasonable), but I find it astonishing that the corrupt business people who allegedly offered this bribe have not been given any scrutiny. We should be taking a look at the corrupt corporate scum who allegedly offered these bribes. They are the ones who should be in jail and paying heavy fines. It is a very serious offence under the Criminal Code to bribe a public official, even if the bribe is rejected.
