Netanyahu calls up Israel police reservists amid crackdown on Palestinians

Sun Oct 11, 2015 10:27AM

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered a major call-up of police reservists, as clashes escalate between Palestinian protesters and Israelis in the occupied West Bank and East al-Quds (Jerusalem).

According to the Israeli premier’s order on Saturday, Israeli forces will be reinforced by as many as 13 companies of reservists to boost preparedness from Sunday.

Netanyahu said the Tele Aviv regime “will continue to do all that is necessary.”

It is said that a total of between 1,300 and 2,000 extra personnel will be deployed for the matter.

The premier “approved the mobilization of 13 Border Police companies, in addition to the three that have already been mobilized,” the Netanyahu office said in a statement on Saturday.

The forces will be deployed mainly in and around East al-Quds (Jerusalem) and on certain major roads.

Bentzi Sau, an Israeli police official, had said earlier this week that the area of East al-Quds (Jerusalem) would be reinforced with 2,000 officers.

“We are at a very high level of preparedness,” said Sau, adding, “That said, you have to remember that we are working with a lack of resources. Yesterday, the prime minister directed me to present within two weeks a program to significantly reinforce the Israeli Police.”

There has been increasing confrontation between Israelis and Palestinians over the past weeks.

The tension was triggered by Tel Aviv’s imposition on August 26 of sweeping restrictions on entries into the compound of the al-Aqsa Mosque in East al-Quds (Jerusalem) and Israeli settlers’ repeated storming of the mosque.

The Palestinian Authority's Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs said in a statement released on Saturday that Israeli forces have nabbed at least 650 Palestinians since the beginning of October.

Scores of Israeli troops swooped on the Shu'fat camp on October 9, blocking all of its entries and thus prompting confrontation with the Palestinians, the Palestinian Safa news website reported.

A day earlier, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Zeid al-Hussein expressed extreme concern over the escalation of tensions in the occupied territories, urging an end to the violence. The official also warned about the rising number of Palestinians injured by live ammunition, rubber bullets and tear gas used by Israeli forces.

Have the Islamophobic fringe slaughtered any muslims?.

Directly maybe not or not proven yet but indirectly for certain, how can such hatred toward the muslim not have cause it.

How many hundreds of thousands of muslims have the muslim extremists killed?.

Many but who are those muslim extremists, who created them?

So its the evil west that are the blame for everything, the muslims were just peaceful loving souls that lived happily for thousands of years and then along came the west and forced them to become extremists and go around killing people in the name of religion. Everything can be traced back to its all the wests fault. OK.

Israel troops kill Palestinian farmer in West Bank

A Palestinian farmer has been killed by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank as the Tel Aviv regime intensifies heavy-handed tactics to curb the uprising across the occupied territories.

Riyad Ibrahim Dar Youssef, a 46-year-old Palestinian from the al-Janiya village in western Ramallah, was pronounced dead Thursday morning a day after he was assaulted by Israeli soldiers in the volatile region.

He was targeted on his way back home from picking olives with his family. Local residents and witness said Israeli forces beat up Dar Youssef, leaving him with critical injuries.

The administration of the Palestine Medical Center said that his condition had rapidly deteriorated after the fatal attack by the Israelis.

The village of al-Janiya is surrounded by Israeli settlements and its residents are frequently denied access by the Israeli army to their farmland. Israeli soldiers have prevented al-Janiya residents from reaching the olive groves by declaring the area as "closed military zone."

Israeli settlers have stepped up their attacks against Palestinians by uprooting trees and burning farmland in the troubled region over the past months. Attacks by extremist Israeli settlers and forces become a daily occurrence during the annual olive harvest season.

The latest death comes a day after two other Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli forces across the occupied territories. Tel Aviv claimed they had attempted to stab Israeli soldiers.

Latest figures show that at least 33 Palestinians have been killed in fierce clashes with Israelis over the past fortnight.

Meanwhile, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has lashed out at Israel for executing Palestinians in cold blood.

Even the United States, Israel's closest ally, has expressed serious concern about Israeli security forces' use of excessive force against Palestinians.

sraeli forces imposed more restrictions on Palestinians’ movement in East al-Quds (Jerusalem) on Thursday. Israeli soldiers blocked the entrance to several Palestinian neighborhoods and set up more roadblocks.

The fresh uprising come amid recent deadly tensions between the Tel Aviv regime and Palestinians triggered by Israel’s imposition of sweeping restrictions on entries into the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East al-Quds on August 26 and Israeli settlers’ repeated attacks on the mosque.

Palestinians are furious at the settler violence and a plan by Israelis to change the status quo of the al-Aqsa mosque, which is Islam’s third holiest site after Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina.

FINALLY! Israel Officially Calling For Third Temple to Replace al-Aqsa Mosque!

It is only a matter of time now.

The Israel Minister of Housing and Construction Uri Ariel on Friday expressed his wish to see the construction of a “Third Temple” in place of the Al-Aqsa Mosque that is currently occupying the temple mount. Uri Ariel said “The first Temple was destroyed in 586 BCE, the second Temple in 70 CE, and ever since the Jewish People have been mourning its loss.”

He then went on to say “Al-Aqsa Mosque is currently in place of the temple, despite the temple being much holier than it. Al-Aqsa Mosque is only the third most holy mosque in Islam.” “Now that Israel has once again become a Jewish sovereign state, the desire to rebuild the Temple is growing stronger and strong” he added.

Debate: Saudi and Israeli atrocities

In this edition of The Debate, Press TV has conducted an interview with Massoud Shadjareh, the chair of the Islamic Human Rights commission from Tehran, and author and political commentator Carol Gould from London to discuss about the similarities between the Saudi aggression against Yemen and Israelis' atrocities against Palestinians.

http://www.presstv.com/Video/2015/10/12/433008/Saudi-Israel-Gaza-Yemen-war-simil...

I guess they own  Yemen too all part of Greater Israel.......... they're just moving the map a bit further

There are no indigenous palestinians nor has it ever existed in documented history. Its a historical fairytale believe what you want.

Yes those big nasty Jews PFFT,

More people are killed by Islamists each year than in all 350 years of the Spanish Inquisition combined.

Islamic terrorists murder more people everyday than the Ku Klux Klan has in the last 70 years.

More civilians were killed by Muslim hijackers in two hours on September 11th than in the 36 years of sectarian conflict in Northern Ireland.

Islamic extremists massacred more Iraqis on a single day in June, 2014 than the number of American criminals executed in the last 40 years.

Muslim fundamentalists kill more people everyday than were killed during the entire Salem Witch Trials.

Sunni supremacists slaughtered more Yazidi minorities on August 14, 2014 than the number of black Americans lynched by White supremacists in the previous 100 years.

Or just destroy it and build the new Temple.

Muslims have their own land to build their own fairy tale shyte on.

There are no indigenous palestinians nor has it ever existed in documented history. Its a historical fairytale believe what you want.

Early History of Palestine
The Early History of Palestine (Before World War I)

The origin of some of the earliest known civilizations is traced back in the Middle East where the land of Palestine comprised of a human habitation existing even before the biblical times. With the name of Palestine so prominent in the news, it is important that we know where its roots lies.

Where did the name Palestine come from?

The land area of Palestine refers to the region which lies between the Syrian interior and southern Mediterranean coastal plains. The word Palestine is the derivation of “Plesheth”, which meant migratory or rolling. “The land of Palestine” was inhabited by a warrior tribe for most of the population while there were also Hebrews living there. But in the Old Testament, the land is not called Palestine but Canaan.

What was the extent of Palestine in Biblical Times? The name “Plesheth” has appeared in the Bible frequently and has come to be known in English as “Philistine”. The start of the Biblical period brings Palestine in Christian significance; however, the region was inhabited even long before Abrahamic religions. The region was referred to as the land of Israel or Eretz Yisrael in the Old Testament as it was not called Palestine in those times.   What is the evidence for the antiquity of Israel? Around 13th century BC, the Exodus from Egypt brought the Children of Israel in the land of Canaan where they first settled as a tribe and then established their separate kingdoms of Judah and Israel. The name of Jacob is changed to Israel in the Old Testament following his encounter with God. In Genesis, God address Jacob: “Your name shall no more be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.”   Who were the original inhabitants of Palestine? The trace of the original populace of Palestine is rather difficult but the ancient inhabitants of Palestine are known to be ancient Greeks hailed from Asia Minor and not Arabs or Semites. The location of Palestine at the crossroads to some chief civilizations like Egyptians, Babylonians and Romans made it a frequently invaded land with several people living here through the ages.   When did the Jews come to Palestine? The presence of Jews in Palestine is evident from the mention of the name “Israel” in a historic Egyptian inscription where this ethnic group is said to have located between the areas of the Jordan Valley and Mediterranean. In Hebrew Bible, “Land of Israel” is used as a term in as old as the texts of Exilic period. The highland zone was occupied by two separate kingdoms, the Kingdom of Israel situated in the north while the Kingdom of Judah to the south.   What do the names Judea and Samaria refer to? Judea and Samaria are the biblical names for the area that is now known as the West Bank. The area holds importance for the Arabs as a large population of them is living there while conflicts arise with Israel trying to take over the territory. Historically, the ancient kingdoms of Judah and Israel are known to have corresponding to Judea and Samaria roughly. After the fall of the two kingdoms, the name Judah was Hellenized to Judea and Israel was renamed Samaria from Shomron.   What is the Arab history in Palestine? The origin of Arabs is intermingled with several races and ethnic groups instead of a more singular line. The tradition says that Arabs come from the line of Abraham and his son Ishmael. The tribal, Bedouin society of the Arabian Desert is the birthplace of “Arab”. There are other ethnic Arab groups as well that spread in the land and existed for millennia. Before modern Arab nationalism which developed in 19th and 20th century, Arab speaking people identified themselves with a particular tribe, a village or a family.   When did Islam come to Palestine? Following the Battle of Yarmouk in 636 CE, the Islamic Empire was established in Palestine as Muslims conquered Syria and there started a Muslim rule which spread over 1300 years. It is known that the Muslim empire was a “golden age” for Jews as they were treated much better than by the Christians   What was the history of Palestine between Biblical times and the modern era? The land of Palestine has been populated by the nation known as Palestinians since historical times. These people are known to have been religiously diverse always with Muslim as its majority, living peacefully with fellow Jews, Christians and Druze people. However, with the Zionist movement of 20th century, a large number of Jews immigrated to Palestine from many parts of the Europe which increased the Jewish population drastically, leading to conflicts between Arabs and Jews.

It was only after the Jews re-inhabited their historic homeland of Judea and Samaria, that the myth of an Arab Palestinian nation was created and marketed worldwide. Jews come from Judea, not Palestinians. There is no language known as Palestinian, or any Palestinian culture distinct from that of all the Arabs in the area. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. "Palestinians" are Arabs indistinguishable from Arabs throughout the Middle East. The great majority of Arabs in greater Palestine and Israel share the same culture, language and religion.

Much of the Arab population in this area actually migrated into Israel and Judea and Samaria from the surrounding Arab countries in the past 100 years. The rebirth of Israel was accompanied by economic prosperity for the region. Arabs migrated to this area to find employment and enjoy the higher standard of living. In documents not more than hundred years, the area is described as a scarcely populated region. Jews by far were the majority in Jerusalem over the small Arab minority. Until the Oslo agreement the major source of income for Arab residents was employment in the Israeli sector. To this day, many Arabs try to migrate into Israel with various deceptions to become a citizen of Israel.

Even the Chairman of the Palestinian Authority, Arafat himself, is not a "Palestinian". He was born in Egypt. The famous "Palestinian covenant" states that  Palestinians are "an integral part of the Arab nation" -- a nation which is blessed with a sparsely populated land mass 660 times the size of tiny Israel (Judea, Samaria and Gaza included).

All attempts to claim Arab sovereignty over Israel of today, should be seen with their real intention: The destruction of Israel as a Jewish state and the only bulwark of the Judeo-Christian Western civilization in the Middle East.
