Israel destroyed 523 Palestinian structures in 3 months

Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) destroyed 523 Palestinian homes and civilian structures in the West Bank since the start of 2016, with an increase of 275% from last year, a Palestinian center reported Sunday.

According to the report by the Land Research Center (LRC), the Israeli occupation army demolished 188 civilian structures sheltering 854 Palestinians. Nablus province, in the northern occupied West Bank, hit a record high of 58 in the number of demolished homes. The Tana makeshift village was also subjected to three demolitions during the months of March and February.

IOA further destroyed 41 homes in Occupied Jerusalem, 33 in al-Khalil, and 28 in Tubas. Several Palestinian buildings were also demolished in Jabal al-Baba and Abu Nawar Bedouin communities.

The demolition campaign also targeted homes in Silwan, Beit Hanina, al-Tur, Sur Baher, and al-Mukbir areas. According to the center, “such a ferocious campaign” on Palestinian residential structures has seen an increase of 275% compared to the first three months of 2015, when 190 Palestinian structures were knocked down.

Most of the demolitions were carried out either under the unlicensed construction pretext or on account of the inhabitants’ involvement in anti-occupation activism. Israel’s demolition policies have often targeted buildings located in the Israeli-controlled Area C, which covers 61% of the occupied West Bank

Mike Baird in Israel for dictatorship training

April 5, 2016

Smiling Mike Baird is all about control, central control, of all New South Wales from the centre of Sydney. Sydney is all he knows and that’s where he has lived and worked nearly all his life, in narrowly merchant banking and politics.  Many say these two roles are aligned – same food courts. Central Sydney is where the Liberal Party operates from out of 100 William Street East Sydney.

That is why Premier Mike Baird is headstrong on exterminating as many local councils across New South Wales as possible. He has ordered IPART to deem any council not as big as Sydney as “unfit”.  For the Liberals, like Labor, the Asian Century must be accommodated in mass high rise to fulfill developer and bank election funding bribes.  Chinese just don’t like remote councils like Walcha.

He is to merge them into fewer larger councils, then later to a number that he can count on his hand.  Then the final solution is for just one easily big all-controlling, all-seeing council called ‘State Government’.

But the people of Sydney and New South Wales don’t want to merge.  They say NO! forced mergers and acquisitions – that is what merchant bankers do, not representatives of the people.

But Baird still sees himself as a merchant banker..of the people, though more through his familiar big business mates in Sydney’s CBD office towers.  Unless Mike Baird is in a tall office above the 30th floor, he just doesn’t quite feel at home, like in the nearby Chifley Tower.

But the people (plebs) down below in the streets have rallied in protest and in defiance.  In Sydney’s Hyde Park, they called Mike Baird an arrogant dictator.   The people have condemned Baird’s forced merger plans as an attempt to murder local democracy, abolish local community services and destroy the identity of the three threatened local municipalities.

Save Our Councils Coalition has formed and they are ready for a fight.  NSW councils are refusing to go quietly.  They’re prepared to go legal, drag out the process for multiple months.

Local Government NSW President Cr Keith Rhoades AFSM said, “Premier Mike Baird and Local Government Minister Paul Toole waited until the week before Christmas to reveal their proposals to scrap 22 regional and 18 metropolitan councils.”

“Councils slated for the chop include many found by IPART to be “fit” to stand alone under the Government’s own criteria, while voluntary merger proposals have been overruled in favour of the Government’s approach.

“LGNSW welcomes council amalgamations where they can be shown to deliver genuine benefits and are supported by residents, ratepayers and councils.  In fact we’re working hard with councils who have chosen to amalgamate in order to help ensure the process goes smoothly and maximum benefits are realised.

“What we do vehemently oppose is forced amalgamations, where Minister Paul Toole and Premier Mike Baird have chosen to ignore hard economic evidence and the wishes of local communities that their councils remain stand-alone entities.

“Local Government is the only way the majority of ordinary individuals can have a direct input into the future of their neighbourhoods and the way they live their lives – and they don’t want any sphere of Government riding roughshod over this right,” Cr Rhoades said.

“They don’t want to be forced to give way to big developers, or to see their lifestyles impacted by decisions into which they have no meaningful input. I urge the Government to heed this expression of public opinion, whether it is demonstrated through independent polling, locally-based community protests or larger rallies such as the Save Our Councils rally tomorrow.”

Mike Baird is perplexed.  I thought they all liked me.  I thought I was doing a good job.

Baird doesn’t mind the title of dictator, but he is not experienced enough.  He’s trying misinformation and propaganda and reading up on successful habits of dictators.

Baird has after a closed-door session at 100 William Street, announced that he is travelling to Israel for dictator training.

So the Liberal Party has sent Mike Baird off to Israel this week along with his propagandist, aptly named Tony Story, funded by 100 William Street.  Baird’s purpose according to the propaganda is to visit the Holy Land, “develop partnerships on medical cannabis research, tech start-ups and tools to better fight cybercrime.  “I’ll also be visiting the West Bank and meeting with Palestinian officials and seeing how Australian aid funding is being put to use to help refugees.”

Actually, he will be meeting with dictator Benjamin Netanyahu and his henchmen to get one-on-one dictatorship training from the expert, also making secret contact with Mossad and its dirty tricks and propaganda departments.

Then after skull capping and checking out the wall, Baird will be whisked off to inspect Jewish settlements across the West Bank, before taking an order for tens of thousands of Arab refugees made homeless by the Jews.

Palestinian youth intentionally run over in Hebron

22 April 2016

On the afternoon of 21st April 2016, an Israeli settler ran down a Palestinian youth with his car, causing critical injuries, near the Ibrahimi mosque in occupied al-Khalil (Hebron).

Two settlers were driving down the road connecting Shuhada Street and Kiryat Arba in occupied al-Khalil around 2 pm, and, seeing a group of Palestinian children playing on a parking lot bordering the street, turned around and deliberately hit Ala’a al-Rajabi with their car. The children that have been playing with Ala’a before the incident said that they were attacked by these two settlers several times before, and the last time were pepper-sprayed by the settlers that threatened them. According to eye-witnesses, the soldiers at a nearby checkpoint were merely watching and even allowed the two young settlers to attempt to drive off, before a group of Palestinians went up to the checkpoint to ‘inform’ the soldiers of what happened. The injured 17-year old boy, having been hit whilst on his bicycle, was lying on the ground bleeding from his legs and head for about 15 minutes, before any medical help was given to him.

A Palestinian ambulance was allowed to evacuate the youth, now in a critical condition, to a hospital. Big groups of settlers gathered, while more and more soldiers as well as civil police arrived. According to several eye-witnesses, a settler youth wearing an orange T-Shirt was driving the car, whilst another settler youth wearing a blue T-Shirt was in the passenger seat. After the police arrived and a discussion with the two settlers was had, however, it was claimed that it had been the settler with the blue T-shirt that was driving the car. Observers believe the reason for this to be that the settler driving the car did not in fact have a driving licence, whereas the passenger did. Regardless, the settler said by the police to have been driving, was seen walking free from the police station at Ibrahimi mosque, only an hour after the initial incident.

The street where the settlers ran down Ala’a connects the illegal downtown settlements on Shuhada Street and in Tel Rumeida directly with the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba on the outskirts of al-Khalil. Palestinians are prohibited from driving anywhere on this road, an apartheid rule that covers all traffic, including ambulances. Ala’a therefore was lucky that the Israeli forces did coordinate to allow a Palestinian ambulance to drive in to the area as quickly as they did.

The stretch of street where Palestinian traffic is completely barred includes Shuhada Street – the major part of which is entirely off limits for Palestinians. A small part of Shuhada Street is still accessible for Palestinians on foot, but has been under a ‘closed military zone’ order since 1st November 2015. Only Palestinian residents registered as a number are allowed to pass and international visitors are completely barred. Settlers, however, can freely roam the streets. This a part of the Israeli forces’ policy of slowly but steadily driving Palestinians out of these areas, with a view to connecting all the illegal settlements as well as disappearing the last remaining Palestinians from these areas.

Israel to seize 1,250 acres of Palestinian land in West Bank

Apr 24, 2016

The Israeli regime is set to expropriate more than a thousand acres of Palestinian land in the northern part of West Bank irrespective of the international outcry against the expansion of illegal settlements in the occupied territories.

On Saturday, Israeli authorities sent notices to the residents of the Palestinian village of Jalud, situated approximately 30 kilometers (19 miles) south of Nablus, alerting the locals that 1,250 acres of their land were to be seized, in what appeared to be the retroactive legalization of unlawful settlement expansion activities in the area.

Officials from Jalud’s local council said Israeli officials have already built Adei Ad, Esh Kodesh, Ahiya, and Kidah settlements in the area, and their recent measure is in line with their policy of expropriation of Palestinian lands.

The Israeli regime has seized vast swathes of land near the Palestinian village of Qaryut, located 28 kilometers (17 miles) southeast of Nablus, over the past few decades to build at least 10 illegal settlements and two military bases, according to the Applied Research Institute Jerusalem (ARIJ).

On April 12, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas stressed the “urgent” need for a UN resolution condemning Israel’s illegal settlement expansion activities.

“The Security Council is a very important subject because it has now become urgent due to settlement activities and because Israel has not stopped these activities,” Abbas said.

The top Palestinian politician said he hopes Washington would change its approach at the Security Council, and support resolutions that criticize Israel’s settlement expansion in the occupied lands instead of vetoing them.

More than half a million Israelis live in over 230 illegal settlements built since the 1967 Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories in the West Bank and East al-Quds (Jerusalem).

The presence and continued expansion of Israeli settlements in occupied Palestine has created a major obstacle for the efforts to establish peace in the Middle East.

Palestinians want the West Bank as part of a future independent Palestinian state with East al-Quds as its capital.

"Hitler was supporting Zionism" - Ken Livingstone

UK's Labour suspends ex-London mayor Livingstone

Published on 28 Apr 2016

Britain’s Labour Party has suspended former London mayor Ken Livingstone after being accused of anti-Semitism.

A Labour spokesman said Livingstone will be investigated for bringing the party into disrepute. The ex-London mayor had told BBC that Hitler was supporting Zionism before he went mad and ended up killing Jews. He also said there was a well-orchestrated campaign by the pro-Israel lobby to smear anybody who criticizes the Israeli policy as anti-Semitic. Livingstone made the comments to denounce the suspension of Labour MP Naz Shah over her alleged anti-Semitic comments on social media. Livingstone said Shah had said nothing amounting to anti-Semitism.

The following is an official German record of the meeting between Adolf Hitler and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini, on November 28, 1941, at the Reich Chancellory in Berlin. (Source: Documents on German Foreign Policy 1918-1945, Series D, Vol XIII, London, 1964.)

GRAND MUFTI:
The Grand Mufti began by thanking the Fuhrer for the great honor he had bestowed by receiving him. He wished to seize the opportunity to convey to the Fuhrer of the Greater German Reich, admired by the entire Arab world, his thanks of the sympathy which he had always shown for the Arab and especially the Palestinian cause, and to which he had given clear expression in his public speeches.

The Arab countries were firmly convinced that Germany would win the war and that the Arab cause would then prosper. The Arabs were Germany’s natural friends because they had the same enemies as had Germany, namely the English, the Jews and the Communists. Therefore they were prepared to cooperate with Germany with all their hearts and stood ready to participate in the war, not only negatively by the commission of acts of sabotage and the instigation of revolutions, but also positively by the formation of an Arab Legion.

The Arabs could be more useful to Germany as allies than might be apparent at first glance, both for geographical reasons and because of the suffering inflicted upon them by the English and the Jews. Furthermore, they had had close relations with all Muslim nations, of which they could make use in behalf of the common cause. The Arab Legion would be quite easy to raise. An appeal by the Mufti to the Arab countries and the prisoners of Arab, Algerian, Tunisian and Moroccan nationality in Germany would produce a great number of volunteers eager to fight. Of Germany’s victory the Arab world was firmly convinced, not only because the Reich possessed a large army, brave soldiers and military leaders of genius, but also because the Almighty could never award the victory to an unjust cause.

In this struggle, the Arabs were striving for the independence and unity of Palestine, Syria and Iraq. They had the fullest confidence in the Fuhrer and looked to his hand for the balm on their wounds, which had been inflicted upon them by the enemies of Germany.

The Mufti then mentioned the letter he had received from Germany, which stated that Germany was holding no Arab territories and understood and recognized the aspirations to independence and freedom of the Arabs, just as she supported the elimination of the Jewish national home.

A public declaration in this sense would be very useful for its propagandistic effect on the Arab peoples at this moment. It would rouse the Arabs from their momentary lethargy and give them new courage. It would also ease the Mufti’s work of secretly organizing the Arabs against the moment when they could strike. At the same time, he could give the assurance that the Arabs would in strict discipline patiently wait for the right moment and only strike upon an order from Berlin.

With regard to the events in Iraq, the Mufti observed that the Arabs in that country certainly had by no means been incited by Germany to attack England, but solely had acted in reaction to a direct English assault upon their honor.

The Turks, he believed, would welcome the establishment of an Arab government in the neighboring territories because they would prefer weaker Arab to strong European governments in the neighboring countries and, being themselves a nations of 7 million, they had moreover nothing to fear from the 1,700,000 Arabs inhabiting Syria, Transjordan, Iraq and Palestine.

France likewise would have no objections to the unification plan because it had conceded independence to Syria as early as 1936 and had given her approval to the unification of Iraq and Syria under King Faisal as early as 1933.

In these circumstances he was renewing his request that the Fuhrer make a public declaration so that the Arabs would not lose hope, which is so powerful a force in the life of nations. With such hope in their hearts the Arabs, as he had said, were willing to wait. They were not pressing for immediate realization for their aspirations; they could easily wait half a year or a whole year. But if they were not inspired with such a hope by a declaration of this sort, it could be expected that the English would be the gainers from it.

HITLER:
The Fuhrer replied that Germany’s fundamental attitude on these questions, as the Mufti himself had already stated, was clear. Germany stood for uncompromising war against the Jews. That naturally included active opposition to the Jewish national home in Palestine, which was nothing other than a center, in the form of a state, for the exercise of destructive influence by Jewish interests. Germany was also aware that the assertion that the Jews were carrying out the functions of economic pioneers in Palestine was a lie. The work there was done only by the Arabs, not by the Jews. Germany was resolved, step by step, to ask one European nation after the other to solve its Jewish problem, and at the proper time to direct a similar appeal to non-European nations as well.

Germany was at the present time engaged in a life and death struggle with two citadels of Jewish power: Great Britain and Soviet Russia. Theoretically there was a difference between England’s capitalism and Soviet Russia’s communism; actually, however, the Jews in both countries were pursuing a common goal. This was the decisive struggle; on the political plane, it presented itself in the main as a conflict between Germany and England, but ideologically it was a battle between National Socialism and the Jews. It went without saying that Germany would furnish positive and practical aid to the Arabs involved in the same struggle, because platonic promises were useless in a war for survival or destruction in which the Jews were able to mobilize all of England’s power for their ends.

The aid to the Arabs would have to be material aid. Of how little help sympathies alone were in such a battle had been demonstrated plainly by the operation in Iraq, where circumstances had not permitted the rendering of really effective, practical aid. In spite of all the sympathies, German aid had not been sufficient and Iraq was overcome by the power of Britain, that is, the guardian of the Jews.

The Mufti could not but be aware, however, that the outcome of the struggle going on at present would also decide the fate of the Arab world. The Fuhrer therefore had to think and speak coolly and deliberately, as a rational man and primarily as a soldier, as the leader of the German and allied armies. Everything of a nature to help in this titanic battle for the common cause, and thus also for the Arabs, would have to be done. Anything however, that might contribute to weakening the military situation must be put aside, no matter how unpopular this move might be.

Germany was now engaged in very severe battles to force the gateway to the northern Caucasus region. The difficulties were mainly with regard to maintaining the supply, which was most difficult as a result of the destruction of railroads and highways as well as the oncoming winter. If at such a moment, the Fuhrer were to raise the problem of Syria in a declaration, those elements in France which were under de Gaulle’s influence would receive new strength. They would interpret the Fuhrer’s declaration as an intention to break up France’s colonial empire and appeal to their fellow countrymen that they should rather make common cause with the English to try to save what still could be saved. A German declaration regarding Syria would in France be understood to refer to the French colonies in general, and that would at the present time create new troubles in western Europe, which means that a portion of the German armed forces would be immobilized in the west and no longer be available for the campaign in the east.

The Fuhrer then made the following statement to the Mufti, enjoining him to lock it in the uttermost depths of his heart:

1. He (the Fuhrer) would carry on the battle to the total destruction of the Judeo-Communist empire in Europe.
2. At some moment which was impossible to set exactly today but which in any event was not distant, the German armies would in the course of this struggle reach the southern exit from Caucasia.
3. As soon as this had happened, the Fuhrer would on his own give the Arab world the assurance that its hour of liberation had arrived. Germany’s objective would then be solely the destruction of the Jewish element residing in the Arab sphere under the protection of British power. In that hour the Mufti would be the most authoritative spokesman for the Arab world. It would then be his task to set off the Arab operations, which he had secretly prepared. When that time had come, Germany could also be indifferent to French reaction to such a declaration.

Once Germany had forced open the road to Iran and Iraq through Rostov; it would be also the beginning of the end of the British World Empire. He (the Fuhrer) hoped that the coming year would make it possible for Germany to thrust open the Caucasian gate to the Middle East. For the good of their common cause, it would be better if the Arab proclamation were put off for a few more months than if Germany were to create difficulties for herself without being able thereby to help the Arabs.

He (the Fuhrer) fully appreciated the eagerness of the Arabs for a public declaration of the sort requested by the Grand Mufti. But he would beg him to consider that he (the Fuhrer) himself was the Chief of State of the German Reich for five long years during which he was unable to make to his own homeland the announcement of its liberation. He had to wait with that until the announcement could be made on the basis of a situation brought about by the force of arms that the Anschluss had been carried out.

The moment that Germany’s tank divisions and air squadrons had made their appearance south of the Caucasus, the public appeal requested by the Grand Mufti could go out to the Arab world.

GRAND MUFTI:
The Grand Mufti replied that it was his view that everything would come to pass just as the Fuhrer had indicated. He was fully reassured and satisfied by the words which he had heard form the Chief of the German State. He asked, however, whether it would not be possible, secretly at least, to enter into an agreement with Germany of the kind he had just outlined for the Fuhrer.
